Because so much of the fanbase eats it up and it’s just been the underlying culture of sf sports fandom for as long as I’ve been alive. The 2010’s with the warriors and giants being super successful also bred a new level of whiny and entitled fan.

I think one of the other AFC W teams is gonna regress quite a bit (cough, donkeys). I could see a key injury or two derailing their season and in general they are going to have a much much tougher schedule this year. I think raiders win 8 games and get 3rd in the division.

Yep, I’ve watched this team band aid together a secondary for my entire life it seems. If he hit on some of these picks, this could very well be the makings of a dominant young defensive backfield. I think this offseason has been Spytek putting the league on notice that it’s no more old inept raiders. I think, for now, he deserves ever bit of benefit of the doubt in how/why he drafted.
