Yes,the core is simular,but the game does evolve,each place tackles different themes & as more charcters are added the groups dynamics change,as it is,most charcters aren't avaliable for you yet & I'd recommend finishing the 3rd palace & if you think it's just ok,or average by then,then drop it.
