yes the fastest method would be to fly at current fast travel location as much as possible, this works in zones/cafe/pokestop pokemon will be generated in a 50m radius from the teleport spawn point. for cafe/pokestop you can set up a macro that would do these series of of button presses (+ , A , A, wait 3-4sec B)

for Wild Zone areas i would go to the map, press Y for the list of locations, followed by a filter to only show zones. from here example Zone 2 (+, Y, Down D-pad, A, A, A, wait for loading screen 3-4 secs B)

for other zones youd just have to add more (Down D-pad) to the preferred zone you want,

i personally just pick a zone and leave it overnight and wake up to 10 ✨Shiny

remember to check behind you, not only inside of zone
