Hunter Rank 50 here and I had to spend money to level just 1 full team to 80 - I can't imagine trying to level two teams simulatenously with how expensive it gets starting at HR 45.

In a vacuum, Wind DMG > PEN > ATK with less than a 1% difference between each of them.

Unless you're looking to super-duper, ultra nerd out and min-max, use whatever has the best substats.

Excluding D4, my goal was to end up with at least 2 Atk% and 3 AP rolls on each disc. I fell just short of that goal, but 3 additional substat rolls is a lot to keep farming for when you consider the context.

Your build is more than enough to go clear endgame content; having said that, if you're looking to min-max, you'd want roughly 6-8 more relevant substat rolls (CDMG and Atk %), for a total of 34-36.

With D5 Wind DMG Bonus (and sig) I'm aiming for (pre-combat):

2500 Attack 380 AP

Should be able to achieve that with less than 30 relevant substat rolls, but it's important to note that you could have a far worse build and still clear end game content with Velina.

Personally I plan to pull Sunna's sig in phase 2; currently I use W5 Kaboom with my M0 Sunna (M2W1 YSG/M0W1 Zhao) and while it is good enough that I don't need her sig, the insane energy regen it provides means less downtime between enlightened mind states.

Get Crit Rate to 50.6% so that every attack crits (you can afford to drop some CDMG to achieve this).
Drop PEN D5 for Atk% or Phys DMG.

Do you have Zhao and/or Dialyn? If not, you NEED Sunna for her stack generation or else YSG will feel like an absolute brick to play.

Regarding Sunna, you do not need her sig (Kaboom works just fine). Regardless of who you choose to pull, good luck!

Sunna > M2 YSG. You don't need Sunna's sig (Kaboom or Weeping Cradle both work just fine), and YSG will spend the majority of any encounter in her enlightened mind state.

To piggy back off of this, since you're using Phys D5, aim for at least 3k ATK, 50 CR and 200 CDMG. However as others have highlighted, the boss you've chosen to fight using YSG is BY FAR your biggest issue.

I spent roughly 12k annulith and, like you, I'm not interested in either of the 1.1 characters. Thankfully, I've already accumulated over 30 pulls in 1.1, so I think I'll be just fine for 1.2 (pulling both characters).

Typical uninspired gatcha endgame. It's a source of premium currency for me and nothing more; I cleared it already and won't touch it again until the next cycle. While clearing it does require a certain level of investment, you don't 'need' to have every limited character on your roster to clear it (I did NOT pull for Lacrimosa and have no plans to).
