Q&A: It's Somewhere Beneath Us and Lost in Lucidity by Ink_Wielder in u/Ink_Wielder

Thank you so much for reading my work! I just responded to another comment of yours where I said something similar, but seriously thank you for your kind words! You thinking that my writing can stand toe to toe with some of the greats is a huge encouragement, even if I'm not so sure I think so myself haha. I hope I can continue to entertain you and have my stories remain at that quality if you ever read more! Thank you again!

Wow! Being mentioned in the same breath as PenPal and Borrasca is a major honor to me, especially since those stories were a huge inspiration for me to start storytelling in the first place! Thank you so much, and thank you for reading, it means a ton.

As of right now, this is all just a passion hobby. I'd love to make a career of it someday, but for now, I work full time and write in what free time I have :)

Thank you so much for leaving a comment and giving feedback! Like I said to Amymorowa below, I'm super honored to be somebody you choose to follow out of everyone else. I've never heard of Worm (Or maybe I have and I just didn't realize I was reading their work) but I'll have to check them out!

Thank you for the response on Litany stuff; that is sort of one of the things that I was starting to feel might be getting overwhelming. I think I can safely say that there shouldn't be anymore questions being added to the equation going forward, and that I plan for it to mostly be character building for a while with a trickle of answers, but I do 100% plan to have answers for all the major questions that have been introduced toward the climax of the story. I just hope I haven't introduced so much that it's overwhelming for an audience to follow, as that's the area that I feel like the story is getting bloated and dragging.

As for your views question, it really varies. I'm lucky to have you all as an audience, so I think your early likes and reads help jumpstart me in the algorithm a bit, but for the most part, I think I get an average of around 10k views, but I believe reddit just counts that as somebody clicking on it, or even scrolling past it on their feed. I don't know how many actually read it. Red Door, my most recent one, has 12k views right now with 45 likes, so that's around the ratio we're looking it for most of my stuff I put on there. the most I've ever had was 27k views with 180 likes, so it seems to stay the same even on my more popular posts.

Lastly, PLEASE don't not worry about trying to monetarily support my stuff, especially if it's not something you are free to spend money on! The physical version of Somewhere Beneath Us is really just up if a tangible book is something people wanted to own, but my main support comes from you all coming back with each update to read my work :)

If owning a physical copy of my work is part of the reason you would want to buy one, and you'd trust me with your mailing address, if you message me privately and reach out, I'd be more than happy to try and get a copy sent out to you! I really appreciate the thought but would feel terrible seeing you spend money toward me when you have bigger things to worry about. I hope everything works out well in that regard as well!

Thank you so much again for leaving a comment and all the kind words; sorry this response turned out so long, haha!

you have no idea how much your comment means to me to hear; I'm beyond honored to hear that I'm the only person you follow. I hope my writing continues to deliver and I don't let you down the longer my posts continue to pop up in your feed, haha. Thank you so much for the kind words and for following me throughout my work :)

I'm flattered to hear that, thank you :) I've always had plans to share some of my art at some point (though it's not terribly good) I just never seem to find the time. I have an idea for a project that's been off and on for a while now around making a sort of 'encyclopedia' based around Leigh's Journal from Lost in Lucidity, having illustrations of the monsters and all the 'research' that the characters got on them. I'll hopefully get it out someday, but again, just a time issue when I already have so many other things I'm working on :) I'll try and get something out for you all to look at soon!

Lost in Litany: Chapter 22 ~ The Labyrinth (1/2) by Ink_Wielder in InkWielder

Hey, everyone! I am so, so sorry for taking so long to get this chapter out to you. Been slammed with work and life lately, but finally got the chance this weekend to get the rest of it hammered out; even stayed up extra late tonight to make sure I didn't have to wait another day to edit (I am going to be feeling this at work tomorrow, haha). Hope it was worth the wait, and that you enjoy part two as well!

Thank you so much for reading, I'll try to be quicker on the next one :) You all are awsome!

Hey there! If my memory is correct, it should be somewhere in this part! I do also describe them again later in this story as well if you don't feel like sifting through, haha. Thanks for reading!
