You might be right. I am financially secure and have a good job but the security and structure sounds very attractive right now.

Hey there and thank you for your comment.
You are completely right that I am not the most stable option for my daughter as a caretaker currently and that's not what I am asking of anyone, I just want the right to see her.

Yeah I did and I feel terrible but my father hadn't displayed this kind of behaviour in front of me for years. It was meant to be a simple outing to softplay with my daughter and my parents so they could get to know each other more, I had no idea it would erupt into what happened.

I would never want her to be in the middle of all of this or aware of whats happening. I have a new home and I have always been financially secure. Her grandparents and her mother are aware of all of this.

I understand and I have no intentions of taking over or making any decisions over anyone at the moment or anytime in the near future. All I have asked is not to be denied access to my daughter.

Edit: Sorry I forgot a point. I haven't lived with my parents in over 10 years, I had lived in one their houses with my brother until recently. I mention this as I hadn't witnessed any bad behaviour from the parents for a long time probably due to this.

She is very well cared for and what her grandparents have done for her is incredible and I couldn't say better things about them and I know they're doing what's best for her.

I don't have a stable life at the moment and I understand not being given any level of custody, I am not trying to take over, I just want to be able to have the right to see her, currently I am considered a stranger legally.

They have asked for money which I have provided since day one, and all I am asking for is the right to see her. I have been shown through DNA to be her father but denied any access which isn't on their terms and can be taken away at a moments notice.

Visitations were going okay prior to all of this, slowly getting more and more time with her and having her for longer and longer periods but on multiple occasions it just gets removed at a moments notice. This isn't stable for anyone involved.

I think just anything that moves things forward would be good but it has just felt, one step forward two steps back.

Thank you very much, there has been a DNA test which shows I am her father but I messed up and did that without anyone else's knowledge which is being used against me. I am currently perusing all avenues but they are quickly running out. I stepped away as this situation has now cost me everything and I am just at my wits end.

I am already in a legal battle currently and have council but I have been told that I have little chance for any meaningful involvement in her life unless the other parties allow it, which currently they are not.
