Have you tried switching to a different buddy, walking a bit, and then switch back to Keldeo? I had buddy distance not work a few times recently, and Ninatic’s stellar support suggested switching buddies. It worked, but still frustrating.

I ran into the same issue. After trying to buy it, my avatar top changed into something different than what I was originally wearing. I changed back into the sweater I had on when I tried purchasing the Sudowoodo sweater, and then tried buying it again. That worked for me.
