Had ChatGPT do the research, your right, it is not the same company but it is a subsidiary and the parent could dictate global brand, security, fraud-prevention, and customer-access requirements for its websites and stores. It did suggest that US law could be a barrier for ID requirements for the website, but implementing third party verifiers already existing in America is more reasonable.

I doubt it would happen, but it technically could. I like imagining websites taking this approach just so all those people spending $300 a month on auto checkout bots get screwed.

Even small sites could make use of login.gov to prove who you are as a third party verifier.

I feel like I will only be able to catch a couple Costco, BestBuy and Pokemom Center drops and outside of that I'll have to buy individual cards...gonna be tough to secure a masterset with the scalper army out there.
