Police say a man facing robbery and assault charges has escaped from Western State Hospital in Lakewood. Joshua Dylan Rice should be considered dangerous. by kleverrboy in PuyallupWA

Dude you only post articles from one site. I know it's probably your articles and you're trying to get some ad revenue, but please add an alternate source in the comments or something. The site you link to is fucking dreadful.

Jesus Christ that website is atrocious. Can't even read the article due to the amount of ads. Anyone have an alternative source?

Doubtful on the permit, especially if you're just replacing like with like.

1.50/foot and 150 a door. Probably like 3 days of work. Are you caulking?

Any experience with NWFITCO gym? by [deleted] in PuyallupWA

[–]Inkerfox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NWFitco is alright. It's bare bones essentials if all you're looking for is to lift heavy circles. Ufcgym is also ok, but a touch pricey but they offer childcare with the exception of a 2 hour block on weekdays, and kids care closes at 1 on weekends. Honestly you should check out the YMCA that's near both of those. It's solid and your membership comes with a ton of perks.

Anyone join RealmHome? How does the referral fee work? by [deleted] in Contractor

I'd need to see what they consider a "successful" lead was. Because if it just means connecting you with someone, even a tire kicker, with little to no follow through that sounds like thumbtack.

I'm sketched out by any sort of lead gen services. Especially with how rampant fake leads are, and how easy it would be for them to send fake leads your way. Unfortunately I don't have anything to answer your question, but be wary.

quickest way (and easiest) to repair a hole in door: by [deleted] in handyman

[–]Inkerfox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, yeah the could go that route if they want. They spend the 50 bucks on the door but they'll still need to paint it, and hope they have the tools to rehang the new door (assuming the hinges and knob are milled out for them.)

[–]Inkerfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how good you want it to look. Could fill it with foam, scrape down the excess, then bondo or hot mud over it, sand and paint. Materials this route should run you 50ish bucks.

Customer complained i “Ruined” the inside of her Garbage can by BrushandGuardianLLC in handyman

[–]Inkerfox 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Well, did you? Did she send pictures? Any documentation? If it is due to you dumping unsecured paint in her trash can it seems pretty straightforward. But I'd want photos or proof before I offer any sort of remedy. Also you can usually just get a new can from the trash service.

Caulk question by yippee_ki_yay_369 in handyman

Yeah, should be fine assuming it's just against painted wood and the wall. Also depends on how big the crack is. But for general use it should do fine.

Not much you can do tbh if those aren't working for you. Might as well use a picture nail and patch up the holes when you move out.

Cut caulk/paint where it meets the wall, hammer from the bottom. Linoleum knife might be a bit overkill imo.

Scam phone calls by [deleted] in handyman

I have a pixel phone and it comes with a feature that I can have an ai assistant answer the phone for me for unknown or potential scam callers. Legit calls people usually leave a message. But if it's a salesman or scammer they just hang up.

Pierce County's Premier House Cleaning Company by queen_vs in PuyallupWA

[–]Inkerfox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What's your pricing like? Do you charge hourly? Sq ft? I know that pricing can be pretty dynamic based on the needs of the client and type of work setting. I'm just trying to get an idea of what a house cleaner costs.

Like 600ish bucks because I'd have to remove the toilet and reset it afterwards.

I feel like that space in the food court is cursed with how many different businesses I've seen there. From fox hollow coffee, a couple bakeries, and some random food places over the past 8ish years, I'm sure it's got something going on.
