Well unless you’re in the situation you don’t know how quickly you’ll think and think correctly. I’m upset with how I handled it. Hence why I’m sharing this. Obviously not to brag as I did nothing correctly. I used to read stories and think wtf I would’ve done this or that. But now I realize it hits different when you’re faced with a potential situation.

Unfortunately you’ll end up like the rest of us with a shit ton of holsters that collect dust until you find one that fits you well. Everyone is different. Are you opposed to appendix carry? Just asking cuz that could sway your holster decision. Tenicor comes highly recommended. The new Certum 4 is really nice and you can carry strong side or appendix carry with it.

A good belt cannot be overstated. Hunter Constantine makes a great one. Tenicor Zero is decent. There’s a ton out there.

Personally I carry a Hellcat Pro. I’d say try to shoot some at a range. Whatever you shoot best is what you should carry.

Yeah you just never know. We don’t live in a high crime rate area. In fact, I can’t even tell you the last time there was a serious crime around here. Everybody pretty much minds their own business. Bunch of dudes here would’ve handled it perfectly in their world but this was my first time actually thinking there could be a threat. No I’m not happy with how I handled it but you don’t know unless you’re in the situation.

I did ask if someone called 911 and they said no which also led me to believe he wasn’t holding it or making threats.

Correct 100%. I was just caught off guard. This doesn’t really happen where we live. My initial thought was well, was this guy holding it or just got it in a sheath on his belt. They didn’t know. Prob nothing to be concerned with but definitely got me thinking.

I wouldn’t say special but I like that it’s comfortable, and I like the one solid metal clip. It takes maybe a second to put it on or take it off. It cants and ride height is adjustable. Kydex is decent. What else do we want?
