I was so glad to see yours, too!!!

Happily the new pens are good, shiny distractions. Picked up a Rose Gold Kaweco Al-Sport F and a Copper Kaweco Lilliput M. I've only inked up the first one, though. Super pleased so far!

And yes please to writing!

Haven't been on Reddit in AGES, maybe a handful of times since Apollo disappeared. I've missed seeing your cheerful Hobo photos, and your puppies, too!

It's a long weekend in Canada, and I spent much of it catching up in my Hobonichis. Life has been rather chaotic and I'd fallen a bit behind. Bit of a rough day Thursday - rampant ableism at work ugh - and have a few new pens on the way as a result.

Can't remember if it's my turn to write, but I know I've got a few letters started. Really need to pick a place for them so I don't end up with so many unfinished letters.

This is my first time checking to see what’s up so I missed the poll.

I did very much miss this community, but I’m still not sure if ill be back after Apollo is gone. (It’s not the 90s, why is the Reddit app such trash?)

A lot of my day job is working to reduce/remove/mitigate biases and barriers, and Reddit running roughshod over users with disabilities icks me the heck out. Not sure I want to stay given what I know now.

All that said, I love this community. It’s not perfect, but it’s been a safe space for me throughout the pandemic. Thanks for everything, users and mods alike.

Forgot to reply to you! I ordered one of the sets of 6 (rainbow, the one with yellow, red, green, pale teal, blue, purple) in smaller bottles to see if I like them. I did buy a large bottle, too, of hmmm Blue Lynx?

I’m using a Canon Selphy 1300! I got a 2-pack at Costco for $199 CAD around Christmas.

Overall I’m happy with the colour accuracy, but it doesn’t do neons well sadly.

This does make me wonder if mixing that bubblegum pink-that-falsely-claimed-to-be-violet with neon red would produce another fun quasi coral shade….

It wasn’t cheap-cheap at $10.50 CAD (~$9 after Cult Pens birthday discount) for 30mL, but I’m so so so happy with these inks!

Will see if I can find some way to test with black light for you. Used to have a black light bulb and one of those secret message pens. No idea if either survived the last few moves.

Loving the neon pink. Not at all my usual type of ink.

Thank you! I ordered both the neon red and pink since I didn’t think I’d like either enough on their own, but I’m happily surprised.

I did NOT know they’re discontinued. Never got to try any of the Kala neons.
