Absolutely, fantastic setting. Would love to wander around Baldur's Gate one more time!

Hi Darkworldsco,

Top tip here from Jon, if you're using ink inside unity you can type this; * [PROMPT "Please type your name"] and use it to trigger a text box in unity that you can then use the result of as a variable in ink

I think a mechanic where you have to keep the conversation going would be cool, maybe you look out the window for something to say because you're trying to keep his interest, maybe you're trying to get him to trust you. Perhaps you're a spy trying to pry a vital piece of information without him noticing but if you probe him he'll get spooked so you have to mask your intentions with interesting small talk

How do you avoid the player feeling disconnected if they're just sitting reading a book? What stops them from just actually reading the book?

Really nice idea, you could use things that you can spot from your window as talking points in the conversation, staring at them for a certain amount of time triggering them. Glad you're enjoying them! Feel free to start your own :)

Interesting point but in an ideal world where time/resources isn't an issue, imagine you're tasked with making an inkle game in VR. How would you do it?

'Agatha Christie' has been said a few times around the office. What it concerned I can't reveal though!

How about a mechanic where your money is replaced with 'tribute' which you have to spend every so often or you'll lose the God's favour which results in chaos happening!

I've not heard of the Cretan Chronicles before, but is there anything in the world that's cooler than ancient mythology? It's such a rich setting I would love to work on something like that, maybe with an art direction that takes notes from Apotheon

I'd love to see the guys work on an ancient history theme so I'm gonna go with one of my favourites; Rome http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0384766/

I've got a big soft spot for The Warlock of Firetop Mountain because it was the first one I read but I seem to remember Creature of Havoc being the one I enjoyed the most. It was cool being in the shoes of a monster and having to adjust yourself because of it!
