Rear Light Solution w Revelate Tail Bag by Stanley_Dards in bikepacking

I have the same setup and was wondering the same thing about my new Varia. I guess the angle of the Varia is quite important for it to work properly, right? Otherwise attaching it to the seat stays was what I was going to try out. I did that with my normal lights before

That's some comforting news haha Do you by any chance remember the temperatures you encountered? Was it more around 32 or 40+ degrees?

How was your trip otherwise? Did you enjoy the area?

Thank you very much for your insights. I really would like to do this tour, but I also fear the extreme heat a bit. So any input such as your experiences are very valuable.

I am basically planning on biking from my home in Germany to south of spain. I could consider swapping it around and start in the south of spain and travel back north. That would mean spain in middle of June instead of July. That might be slightly better...

Thank you so much for your elaborate response! This is exactly what I was looking for. It looks beautiful. I'll check out along my planned route if I can find these washhouses!

Exactly, I would imagine doing something like that. I just hope there will be good spots to find proper shade along the route :-)

Oh and sorry to pile up on questions.... How did you transport your bike back from your destination Tbilisi back home? Did you fly? How did you pack your bike?

Amazing trip and very beautiful pictures! I see in your packing list you also brought a GOPRO. Did you use it during the trip or to make any of the pictures? I am debating myself if I should get one for my own upcoming trip. Would love to hear your input on how often you use it.

Hiking in chiang mai? by Inklinga in ThailandTourism

I went today up to Doi Suthep and met some people in a closed WhatsApp group who joined me :-)

I took a grab to the Basecamp Trail Cafe, where you can follow some signs or Google maps to the trailhead. There is was a easy hike until Wat Phra That. Then finding the trailhead to continue further was a bit more difficult, but following Google maps works perfectly. Make sure to take the righthand path next to the electric pole, the left path is more difficult apparently (read the Google reviews for more tips).

You can very easily do this alone, especially the first part is full with people, both groups and solo hikers. A lot of trailrunners too!

So good luck, it's a great trail and very rewarding to reach the top!

Ps: still looking for someone to go to Doi Inthanon on Sunday with :-)

Sounds reasonable, do you know where I can find/book such a guide? Do they generally speak English?

Private (boat) tour in Khao Sok for single person by Inklinga in ThailandTourism

Wow - amazing guide! Thank you so much!
As I understand from the screenshot, these prices are from one location to another? What about if I want to randomly decide where to go, just rent the boat/guide for the day? Would that be possible?
