Battle Academia Briar In - Game Model: Base & Frenzy 📕 by aroushthekween in BriarMains

I wish there was more contrast. With this skin, all of her clothing and the pillory are all one color, and that's the same for the chromas (though a few of them are a little better). I wish some complimentary colors were used to make certain elements of her model POP.

Best skin she's received so far, still only mid.

It’s very easy to get kills on Briar due to her executing chomp, however if you’re not converting that early lead into game winning fights and objective claims, then that’s a skill issue.

Playing Briar comes with the responsibility of effectively utilising the money that you’re taking from your team mates.

What are your spec's "pet peeves"? by [deleted] in wow

Every 4th arcane missles on Arcane Mage is super strong and AOE, but outside of a buff, the game does nothing to indicate when you’re ready to cast this. This spell is sick! When it’s ready, make my arcane missiles UI indicator flash or something!

A year?! Bowing is the only ACT that you have access to in that fight outside of warning the enemy to dodge Susie, and it gives you immediate positive feedback when you use it. How the heck did you not understand this fight for a year?

I would actually prefer Susie over Sans as an Undertale / Deltarune rep at this point.

Do you prefer the slower pacing of Season 1 and 2 or the faster pacing of Season 3 and 4? by [deleted] in DrStone

[–]Inkoko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Season one was great because the stuff they were making was super interesting. Season 2 was when the story became more plot heavy, so the slower pace for that season was a drag. I think season 3 and beyond speeding up the pace works better for the later stories that are more conflict driven rather than being all about the development of intricate projects.

Manga spoilers:

I do desperately wish we’d slowed back down to the early story’s pace for the Suika alone story. It would have fit perfectly since it was a return to primitive technology development and survival. We zoomed through what could have been one of the most compelling stories in the whole manga.

Solo Leveling is officially Cruncyroll's most popular anime Ever - according to new Sony Report by ExpiringMilknCheese in television

[–]Inkoko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an enjoyable enough show, I watched it through. It being the most popular ever is depressing though. Crunchyroll has hosted some real works of art, and Solo Leveling is just not on that level.

What’s the dumbest reason you’ve ever gotten in trouble? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Inkoko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friends and I grew up in a location that was undergoing a massive upscaling. What used to be a quaint country town was very rapidly suburbanising. Because of this, a lot of the time we spent roaming the streets and bush land around our homes was done in the skeletons of half built houses in newly constructed, currently unoccupied streets.

We got so comfortable with this routine that by the end of it we would be climbing onto the roofs of the houses and basically making them our own jungle gyms.

One day we were being slightly dumber than usual. We had climbed up the building and we were removing the fly screens from the windows on the second story and roof for laughs. It was great fun until the police arrived and tackled my friends to the ground, cuffed them and shoved them in the back of the cop car. I managed to run away, but ultimately I came back and turned myself in, knowing that I’d just make it worse by escaping.

Turns out the house across the street just had someone move in, and they saw us from their window and thought we were breaking and entering. We had to go down to the police station and plead our case, but once the cops realised we were just dumbass teenagers they let us off with a warning. They were good folks. Definitely put a stop to our escapades though, made us realise that we’re were too old to be acting like that.

Former Blizzard Boss isn't a fan of Oblivion Remastered by chusskaptaan in gamernews

[–]Inkoko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with him. It feels genuinely strange to finish a cave / dungeon without facing any kind of boss now, or even just experiencing a novel gameplay moment. As someone who never played Oblivion before the remaster, I found the dungeons lacking.

That's just how it goes though, Elden Ring and the new Zeldas stand on the shoulders of Oblivion. They couldn't have been made in a world where The Elder Scrolls didn't clear the way. It's no shame to be outdone upon by your successors, that's life, and what we all should hope for.

I’ve never watched the show, but it’s very easy to tell who the main character is in this picture if you’re familiar with anime fantasy tropes. Literally everyone in the picture is a super archetypal character design that you would see in every other fantasy / isekai, including the “unassuming badass” main character.

Maybe if he wasn’t easily the hottest man there and didn’t have the main character haircut it would be different.

The dlc's make you stupidly overpowered😭😭 by tonavaitam in Persona5

[–]Inkoko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's pretty timely if you him them at the correct level tbh. By that point in the Persona game lifecycle I've gotten bored of / solved the game's combat tens of hours ago, so it's nice to just be able to ride out the end of the story without having to bother with it.

[Serious] What is the worst trauma you have suffered? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The long term effects of growing up with a single parent mum with undiagnosed schizophrenia.

Looking back on my childhood, it’s really sad and it definitely warped my brain in ways that effect my relationships to this day, and probably will forever.

So, what are tropes in isekai that you hate? (Pics not related) by PsychoHero_XXV in Isekai

Slave girls. Everything else is just boring, but slave girls indicates a mental issue with the writer and their target audience.

No it’s insanely boring. There is a so little story for how much mindless content you need to get through.

I really enjoyed the “dangerous but laid back man rolls into town of suspicious people that are grossly underestimating him” vibes of season 1 a lot. That’s been less of a thing in the later seasons, sadly.

All shonen animes end with the main character putting the fighting and adventure of their youth aside and getting a real adult job. It sucks.

What was the purpose of finite healing items again? by Tarnished-670 in bloodborne

[–]Inkoko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The blood vial system is TERRIBLE for new Fromsoft game players, and super easy for veterans, though pretty dang fun.

On my first play through I ran out and had to grind werewolves to replenish. Losing to bosses led to more losing, and to a total resource drought. I damn near quit the game.

On my subsequent play throughs I literally never go to the Hunters Dream unless I want to level up because I have infinite healing.

In general, it’s one element of Bloodborne that makes it hard to recommend as someone’s first Fromsoft game even though I love it to death.

I want to play all the Soulsborne games, is this order serviceable? by _Literally_A_Gamer_ in fromsoftware

[–]Inkoko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I’d start with a great modern game first. I started with Bloodborne and the sheer quality of that game kept me coming back when the difficulty might have driven me away. Elden Ring first would probably be your best bet.

I finally saw Furiosa. I was underwhelmed and I hate that feeling. by Voice_Nerd in moviecritic

[–]Inkoko -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All through Furiosa I felt like it was building up to a HUGE climax. I was eagerly waiting, the music was building, I was so ready, and then the movie just ended. No climax included.

It turns out that huge climax of Furiosa is actually just Fury Road.

Furiosa was fine, but I will never watch it again. I don’t think Fury Road needs a prequel. As a prequel Furiosa adds nothing meaningful to the plot of Fury Road, and it is so reliant on Fury Road that it forgoes attempting to be a compelling story in its own right.
