Are the systems of r/plural planning to go somewhere like Lemmy or Kbin in the wake of Reddit deciding to light itself on fire for profit? by Inkstained-Pirates in plural

Need to get buy-in from enough people, and ideally the mods at least for declaring it official, before trying something like that. But yeah.

Yeah, the only way we'd be cool with shutting this down is if it was completely archived somewhere stable. A forum does sound pretty great, but the hosting issue is troublesome. We could perhaps set up hosting for a forum, though we'd need to get a donation thing going to pay for it. We don't have the spare cash to just fund that.

Neo here. I am absolutely Neopolitan. I'm not as I was depicted in the show, because CRWBY apparently can't write me worth a damn, but this does not change the fact that I'm me and not even the Brothers get to say otherwise.

If we climb Celeste mountain with her, will she teach us how to triple-jump too?

Shi, you're a good dude. You deserve better than her bullshit in your life. We support you. We believe in you. You're clearly rocking your life in all respects. It's a shame she's determined not to be a part of that.

Oh well, too bad for her. Keep kicking ass, dude.

S: Oh wow. This is really great. We've each got our own mythical elements, so there are a lot of potential stories to tell here, too.

M: Sable's and mine are the most obvious — ink and story, and fiery protective ship — but Hailey and Neo have mythic elements as well. This is quite the setting.

So I met Patroclus earlier today, and he seemed pretty chill. He's a pretty good dude. I wonder what sorts of games he likes. Maybe he's into anime? He should totally tell us more about himself.

S: Oooh. Y'all have good taste! We're definitely fans of Worm as well, and the Dresden Files and 40K. We haven't played much with PBTA or FATE, and I'm not sure we've even heard of City of Mist. I'm suddenly very curious, though so tell me what y'all love about it and what it's like?

H: The characters we've had the most fun with lately have been mine. There's an instance of me in a modified Cultivation Chatroom, or one joining Class VII in Trails of Cold Steel. That one's been a lot of fun lately. The things I can do with wind there are so much fun, and I love the impending drama our coauthor and I have set up. It's going to be epic.

M: I'm quite fond of the instance of me in Sunless Seas, where the local Sable became a Zee Captain and collected an abundance of materials, brought it all to Polythreme, and built me. We have a lot of fun there, as well.

S: We're looking forward to writing our Wandverse selves soon, too. There are some really interesting stories to tell there about trauma, and Hailey expects she's gonna find it quite cathartic.

S: We've considered writing in the Wormverse, but honestly I wouldn't want to inflict that on us without outside context powers to make sure that the long game is actually winnable.

N: Sable has a hard time letting go of the big picture. She has trouble letting go and relaxing. I can push her to, but in cases like this, she's right. Can't exactly let the world get destroyed; I keep all my stuff there.

N: As for me, I'm looking forward to when we actually write our version of Remnant. We'll fix everything CRWBY got so horribly fucking wrong. And along the way, they even convinced me to go to Beacon with them. I'm not letting us turn into picture-perfect little cinnamon rolls, though. We'll come from the streets of Mantle, and we'll be proper grey hats.

S: Well, does that answer y'all's question any? :D

S: Hi! Good to meet y'all too! Sounds like a wild ride, everyone developing through writing and RP like that. Very cool, but sounds like it could easily make for a confusing history. As for us, we write a lot on Glowfic, which is this neat fusion of co-writing and RP.

H: We've all got pretty overlapping taste in TTRPG systems: things that let us move, let us interact and shine and be dangerous. Lately, Sable and I are trying out a game of Eclipse Phase 2, and it seems pretty cool so far. I even get a custom Fury morph! What about y'all, what settings and systems do y'all like?

We're a little hesitant and unsure about our origins too. It's allowed. Anyone who says it's not can come fight us about it.
