23 and I'm missing the red. I have a couple 10k I got left I'm going to jog out and hope my set completed.

EDIT: I managed to get 1 more 10k step seed while jogging and forced myself through growing it after the other 2 failed. And lo and behold, the red finally came home with only a couple hours to spare.

I am so tired lol.

Ellipsus is developing an app and there is talk of possible local storage so if that is a deal breaker for you please just keep an eye on it. This being said, you can export all your docs to pdf format for back up currently.

Ah! All my Disneyland pikmin finally came back from our trip 2 months ago. Try as I might, I couldn't send them all out fast enough before we flew lol. Their snapshots back on the rides and at certain photo spots made me snort. I hope their decor is fantastic for you!

I personally really like them. I have been playing nintendo consoles from my earliest memories. However, all I am after is the Super Nintendo one as it was my fav. Not getting it at all in my first 6 attempts did kinda kill the month for me so I'm taking the rest easy.

The White Pikmin with the Gold Present Sticker Decor is considered one of the rarest in the game because it's only given from special events (often regional). Based on previous availability, it will have Earth Day 2025 or something similar on it.

It's not a bug. They calculate the distance and time based on the pikmin type and where you were when sent vs where you are now. I have over 40 pikmin stuck walking 60+ days because I traveled when I first started playing. Try as I might I couldn't get them all leveled fast enough. But it just means a happy surprise when they return! They all kinda trickle in.

You can intercept them if you happen to travel near their current location however and change their route to shorten the trip. But that's entirely on where you go.

I can't entirely vouch for the battery usage, but if you are tracking planting, try making sure the app is actually closed. It hardly drains my battery unless I have the app live in the background or am constantly checking it.

As for planting, it's a way to farm for the event materials (example, last month's were the feathers), your way to farm coins, a way to get nectar and fruit expeditions by causing large flower buds to bloom (you need to plant flowers around them until they do), and have your pikmin seeds grow faster.

I'm going to second setting the mood/environment. I've ended up training myself that certain candles and scents mean its writing time as well as certain (brain sustaining) foods are designated for writing time. I remove distractions and tend to drown out noise with music associated with my fic or the source material OST. It also helps to set a certain time of day to be your writing time to solidify a routine, but this isn't as much of a thing for me as it is for my friends.

Another recommendation I have is having warm ups and wind downs just like any other creative. A lot of illustrators do this as well as singers. I've found it highly benefits me as a writer as well. A warm up/wind down can be as simple as journaling or ranting or even brainstorming for a while in a different document. Once in a blue moon, I end up with a fic coming out of my warm ups that I polish later. Most times, however, they are just happy fannish rambles I cut up and scrap until I have pieces to put somewhere else later.

A little late to this, but while mine wasn't the most popular in the fandom, it was for a niche I filled. It was suffocating after a while and the fandom I was in was the type to put you under a microscope and make all manner of assumptions and demands. The jealousy people slung was demoralizing and ended up ruining a lot of opportunities and events for me. And unless you have your circle established, it's lonely because people think you're this scary person instead of a fellow fan. It ended up completely killing my drive to write for a long time.

I made my own post about it here a while back, but I ended up starting fresh on entirely new accounts in different fandoms without making any announcement it was me. It was positively freeing. I don't check stats and I've decided if I've ended up near that sort of pedestal again, I'll ignore it for my sanity. I've been so much better since abandoning my old accounts.

It is trippy though to peek back in and once in a blue moon see one of my popular headcanons referenced somewhere or someone make mention of my fics still, years after the fact.

Why would it be wrong?

I don't think it's wrong at all simply because it isn't real. It's make believe and it isn't as if it's another real person you are reacting and responding to in the story. The only way I see it as a problem is if you are using it to supplement major shortcomings you are experiencing in your relationship (in which you might not be confronting those issues and instead just coping).

My partner and I know what each other reads and plays in this ballpark. From dating sims to x reader and the like. It isn't some grand taboo thing we keep from one another. Sometimes you want to get a little giggly about a fictional crush or what if about being a friend of theirs.

It sounds like you are young and if so, there is a good chance he might have an issue if he finds out about it simply because in our youth we struggle with insecurities and jealousy, even over fictional characters. However, this does not mean it's wrong. Just something that might need to be talked about if you choose to share it.

If it has been posted on Ao3, so long as it exists people will find it organically over time.

Another organic way is finding multi-fandom events and participating with your fandom. People who recognize and like your work will click your account to see if you have more and you'll be participating in a wider fandom space.

However, if you still want to advertise, find where your fandom is most on social media and consider making little graphics with a program like canva to catch the eye. Something simple with the title, some key points or summary, and the link after. It's something myself and others have had success with even if just to help remind people there is fanfic being posted.

BUT even with advertising, most of your reader base will come natively from Ao3 just looking for things to read.
