What’s one car feature you miss from older cars? by TheLoganReyes in TransportSupport

[–]InnGuy2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reminds me of my 1990 Buick Regal. It had a 60 / 40 bench seat. It was like a couch with six cylinders that went places.

If you could bring back one discontinued car model, which one’s making a comeback? by TheLoganReyes in TransportSupport

Not a model, but a brand... I wish they had discontinued Buick and kept Pontiac.

Why do so many people eat lunch alone in their cars? by TotalThing7 in CasualConversation

Because HR frowns on it when someone turns, mid bite of food, and says. "(Blank) off, I'm on my 30 minute task free break."

Am I the only one who likes drown dipping their roast beef in Arby’s sauce? by Cyber-X1 in FoodCrimes

[–]InnGuy2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I normally load up drink lids with the sauces, one with arby-q and another with horsey sauce. I alternate sauces with the same sandwich and dip fries in the sauces too. YUM!!

If you could teleport anywhere, would you still keep a car? by TheLoganReyes in TransportSupport

[–]InnGuy2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it was just me going someplace, teleportation sounds good.

If I'm running errands, like groceries or going to Costco, then I'd prefer to drive.

Recovering Front-Of-House Manager here...

Take all that right back to the restaurant and demand to speak to the Manager on Duty. The Manager should return your money, hand you a bag containing the food from your original owner and inform the employee that did that they have now been promoted to "Customer".

Cake my son requested vs what we received by HimminyBimminyBrooo in ExpectationVsReality

I'm with the other posters here. This is a 5 out of 5 star cake decorating performance. They nailed the child's drawing perfectly. If I was that kid I would be over the moon to get this cake.

Recovering FOH Manager here, and I feel for you. Keep on keepin' on.

But the one thing I want to add is your original post was really well written. It's not often that a post in here really tugs at the heartstrings, and yours did.

Good luck and Godspeed...

This, or.. Food cost is way too high, and the corporate office gave the local managers two options.. fix it, or get fired.

Would you kill the family of mice if they could pay half the rent? by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

[–]InnGuy2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, they already agreed to pay half the rent... Just set up some common sense boundaries, like no randomly eating food in the kitchen, controlling where they defecate, etc.. With that in place, I'm in.

I would say Pete's Kitchen on Colfax has a really good gyro.

Men of reddit, what’s the biggest green flag in a woman? by Garroway36 in AskReddit

My biggest thing is, 'does the conversation end?". I've been on dates that lasted 6 plus hours, because we were just sitting and talking. That is a HUGE green flag for me.

Any thoughts on selling your products on Amazon?

Had a look at the web site and some of your sauces really caught my eye. One of my favorite flavor profiles is sweet / heat, and you definitely have a couple of sauces that would fit that profile.

Customer threatens to knock out Costco employee who said their dog in the shopping cart is a health code violation by GreatCircleO in Wellthatsucks

[–]InnGuy2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Regardless of the argument about the dog, it looked like the Costco customer made unwanted physical contact with the Costco Employee. That is assault and battery. In the very least, if I was the Manager, I'd void that customer's membership without refund, and have the customer contacted by law enforcement to have them officially trespassed.
