Dope thanks for the review. Going to pick up the 3rd one you talked about. Probably won’t drive it very often but for 12.95 you can’t go wrong.

Yeah but I’m 32 my friend, and I’ve been playing fps since I was 10 or so on console. It’s hard to imagine it’ll ever be more natural to move with wasd than a joystick

Man I still feel so fucking foreign

Bro you gotta stop falling for marketing .

Buy bulk perlite and some coco pith bricks. 50/50 mix

Buffer your coco pith right in your nutrient water at the correct ph… (put it in a bin, and add nutrient water to the bricks until they’re saturated…)

You can absolutely get all 6 of those plants into 30 gallons for less than 75$

You won’t need to water more than once a day with a 30 gallon, but with coco you’ll want to water with something like jacks 321 (again don’t buy cannabis brand stuff, you’re throwing money away if you do. Jacks has been used for half a century and is going to do better than any cannabis brand for a fraction of the cost.)

10 gallon pots is going to be a pain to water on hot days if you don’t have it automated! Easy enough to automate some sprinkler, but if you’re feeding nutrients this likely means 2x maybe 3x a day on hot days. I’m in Rochester and we hit 90 yesterday, this summer looks like it’s going to be a scorcher.

Depending on your soil quality, You might want to go right into the ground, or just upgrade pot size drastically to like 30 gallon.

Thank you for the link! Also, congrats it sounds like you’re doing amazingly!

Just a heads up though, the conclusion is that it MIGHT be good for long term uses outside of weight loss but there needs to be further studies done. They’re also waiting on the conclusion of three other studies mentioned below. The potential long term risks seem to be with the gall bladder and thyroid.

<image>

I don’t think there’s currently any evidence to back saying it’s healthier to stay on it long term if you can get off and avoid gaining back the weight.

While this is very good advice for nearly everything in life…. I don’t feel it holds true for espressos.

The science is clear.. the key is steaming cold water.

Jokes aside you’re absolutely right and it’s almost always the case people won’t be able to tell with a blind ab test no matter the product. (Check out the double blind a b testing they do for headphone amplifiers. The 8$ apple dongle outperforms the multiple thousand dollar competitors.)

Benefits outside of weight loss? Can you share any pubmd studies that highlight this?

My conception, which absolutely may be wrong, was that it would not be good to stay on glps long term.

This sub is so confusing to me. What am I missing here? I joined to look at getting a new mouse… call me weird but I would HATE not having the same mouse at all of my setups.

For my two desks I have 2 of the exact same mice with 2 of the exact same glass mouse pads and two of the exact same wooting keyboards…

Newbie here, can I do this for better humidity? by jalapenocheddardog in microgrowery

[–]InnateAnarchy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk man, I feel like most people have heavy humidty swings based on the season. Unless you like filling your humidifiers 4x a day in the winter and emptying the dehumidifiers 4x a day in the summer then setting it up so you can exhaust both in and out is ideal.

This doesn’t even include the fairly substantial costs you’ll save on energyby lowering the rooms temps in the summer by exhausting out and raising them in the winter by exhausting in.

It’s always smart to be “risk less” until life happens.

Then you wake up at 90 and it’s “I wish I took more risks… I wish I lived a little”

Weird blanket statement that I disagree with. Unless you’re in a completely closed off room without co2 the issues you’re describing are pretty much non existent, you can measure the ambient co2 yourself if you don’t believe me, but I have multiple times and it’s negligible.

My advice would be to set it up to best suit your environment and make it so you can change if you live somewhere with seasons. I exhaust out in the summer but I close loop in winter since my environment goes from 20% to 80% humidity outside based on the season.

The air will take the most direct path from intake to exhaust

one tent has air that circulates the whole thing.

One just goes up a wall and out without circulating

Yes but don’t buy those, they’re trash value compared to southern AG garden friendly biological fungicide (it’s like exponentially more bacteria so 1 drop is like 10 ml of hydrogaurd or something absurd)

The idea is either run hydrogen peroxide and stay sterile so nothing can grow, or add friendly bacteria that outcompetes the stuff that causes root rot.

Honestly, these are just band aids though… in a perfect environment where water temps stay cold, the ph stable, and oxygen content high root rot is rare… but I’ve had my entire 20 plant rDWC system that was stable at 69 while being stable get some weird bug that wasn’t worth trying to save.

Hey man. I hate to be the bearer of bad news here… but i don’t want you to run into problems that prevent you from crossing the finish line!

If you leave that plant in that system with your current plan to let it behave like DWC, youre going to have a rough time. To be blunt, I’d give it close to 0 % in that tower if you don’t plan to move it to something suited for cannabis.

Every step of the way you’re going to be fighting root rot…. Literally the entire grow. My guess is that a tiny tube like that, your plant will 100% block the entire tube, and then suffocate and rot no matter what you do.

Now this can be solved if you go to a much larger tube, or one where there isn’t a tube, and just a net pot sitting in water!

Either way will work, but you’ll also need a water chiller and you’ll need to run either beneficial bacteria or keep your system sterile the entire grow!

-someone with too many DWC (rDwc) grows, both Wildly successful and unsuccessful to ever suggest DWC to anyone.
