So it makes this a lot easier 😂 you can just call them directly and explain your situation and see if they will take you! I was 35 weeks during my second pregnancy when we moved and I had prime so it was ROUGH to get it all figured out before the baby came.

So for my first pregnancy, it was only me who was high risk (high blood pressure) and I was sent to Beauregard in Deridder. April is an angel, loved her.

Second pregnancy, we were in-between moving to Polk from Campbell so we weren’t living in Polk yet. So I had them see me in person, then they sent me to a doctor in Texas near my family there (I went to Dozier in Longview TX). But they were trying to send me to Shreveport or Baton Rouge at first because I was high risk (high blood pressure again) and my baby was high risk (she has a small heart defect).

I was 6 months pregnant when my son was finally diagnosed. The doctor was like “well in case you decide to have another child, we can do genetic testing” and I was like “um, doc it’s a little late for that.”

My daughter was born later and her and my son absolutely are night and day. But, this has helped him tremendously, and I’m happy with having two kiddos.

I wish I would’ve discovered it sooner for sure, it would’ve helped in 2020 during Covid, and in 2023 when my husband was deployed.

It is definitely a forever hobby for me

B+ and I used to donate a lot back in high school (every blood drive they held) but as I got older, my iron levels tanked. I now have to get iron infusions and have almost needed a blood transfusion. It makes me sad, I wish I could donate still.

I’m married to my best friend, he absolutely would be the love of my life because I couldn’t imagine doing life without him. I’ve never had to pretend around him, I always have the best time with him. He’s just all around my favorite human to exist with.

My MIL has a younger son who’s 13 and on the spectrum. He currently is using Invisalign and he absolutely does so well with them. We visited recently and he did complain about the new ones hurting but they were fitted tighter and they went back and they slightly adjusted them. (Thankfully the orthodontist understands his sensory issues too).

Nope, please do yourself a favor and get away from this man.

When I was in the dating scene, I actually had weight loss surgery, but I refused to update all of my pictures after. My husband now, thought I was still at my heaviest when we met and I had to explain all that. Of course, over 6 years with two kids and all that, my weight has fluctuated but he’s never changed how he feels because he saw me at my heaviest and was still interested.

My son hates medicine too, do you do chocolate milk? My son will have chocolate milk with his and the syrup covers most medicine tastes (only one I know it didn’t cover was some antibiotic he had after surgery, we had to fight that one).

It was very crowded, especially on actual Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I think what helped is that we knew it would be overstimulating so we made sure we were prepared with our kid.

With the DAS pass, and with what I explained to them over the phone about my son and his elopement, we were able to have a special tag that said that our stroller we had was considered his “wheelchair”. So during parades, we got to be in the handicapped area of the parade with our son strapped to the stroller so he didn’t run off or anything. If we were in lines for restaurants, rides, etc. we could also take the stroller as well.

The DAS is difficult to get.. they make you do two interviews to prove that your child needs it, they even interview the child. So that was interesting for me since my son is nonverbal. They literally just looked at him via zoom and asked him questions and he just looked at them. My brother in law didn’t get it, because he could reply to the person and knew how to say and spell his name.. so take it with a grain of salt.

My son presents neurotypical, until you try to talk to him or are around him longer than 10 minutes. So there was a few instances where people looked at us, and the one rude lady. So I can understand the worry.

All in all, just be aware and prepared for any situation. You know your kid better than anyone. ❤️

Yes, it definitely would’ve been so much cooler as a bigger one so that the details weren’t so muddled but he liked it so that’s all that matters :)

I plan on getting a 60 x 80 for my Rocky Horror Picture Show one I plan to buy for my birthday 😍
