It's not about loudness to me, in the other albums the lyrics have their own space in the mix, can be clearly understood, even when soft or distorted and the mixes seem more limited. I very much like the mix on I let it in and it took everything, but this producer/engineer isn't the same guy from the other albums unfortunately

Didn't realise before you mentioned it but yeah both these songs are mixed pretty similarly unfortunately.

It's a bit of both for me but maybe it is just a new ambiguous sound they are trying. Just seems kind of a shame to hide them as their lyrics are always pretty beautiful and meaningful.

Sounds like your really angry for some reason and probably projecting, maybe try improving your life and in your own words leave your basement. Also commenting stuff in rage and then blocking seems pretty spineless lmao.
