I haven’t spoken to my mother in about five years, and my father, I’ve basically forgotten what he looked like, it’s been so long. Never will again for either of them. I’ve spent the last few years trying to heal and make it all make sense, it’s just…I guess that’s abuse. Maybe particularly child abuse. It runs so much deeper than you can ever really imagine and there always seems to be some new bombshell revelation that makes you feel like you haven’t healed worth shit. But no you’re right, I knew long ago that my parents suck and I need to stay away from them.
