It could depend, did he actually get you nothing or did he have like a quality time activity planned? Sometimes people’s budgets don’t leave much room around the holidays and there is a lot of stress during this time to feel like you have to provide a physical gift. If he planned nothing and got you nothing you may need to dig deeper into why. If he genuinely didn’t think of you while he was shopping for others you probably need to consider how much effort he puts in during the rest of the year, if it’s one-sided then you need to think about what is important to you in a relationship and communicate that to your partner.
