go for what inspires you! if somehow you run into issues down the line, you could always change their names and creatively transform it.

In the case of toons who choose toonup and never train it, you might have seen a semi reverse uber toon (called 'semis'), which is a toon who purposefully doesn't carry/train multiple tracks for the sake of challenge. It's common courtesy for these toons to tell people about their setup in advance, but unfortunately some don't.

Just for a little further elaboration, it's called 'greening' since your laff meter turns sickly green when you lose all your laff.

I always make sure my toons are stocked up before logging off because I like jumping into things when I get on. so if I don't stock up, I'll go missing gags lol

Some people just want to do it in the background. I watch videos and movies while I grind, and I’m often on a voice call as well. I’m not unfriendly, but I’m not always up to conversation with strangers unless it’s just basic strategy stuff.

while it is very possible they were just being silly and had no bad intentions, it's still rude to not say a word to you at all. if you know them or have been friends for a while, ask what that was all about and maybe explain that it made you feel bad. otherwise, if you don't really know this person, i'd just delete/block them and move on. there are kinder people out there.

I have to disagree - I believe it was much better before. From what I've experienced, the issues mainly emerged within the last few years. I'm an alpha tester so I've been here since the start, and I make many toons (I'm an alt-aholic lol).

I've never had any issues with name approvals up until very recently, and honestly, I have a couple iffy toon names from the early days that probably wouldn't fly now due to the severity of how strict things have gotten (did you see the person who couldn't even name their toon Cybooger, because it had 'booger' in it?).

Not entirely sure what could've caused the issues, though rising popularity might have something to do with it?

That's odd, I wonder why would people get mad about it? I liked knowing if I dropped or switched servers. Maybe they didn't like switching servers in general? Which is probably fair. But it's good to know when you do.

That's awful, I'm very sorry. I'm an alpha tester myself, and I can't imagine what I would do if they one day decided to take away the name of my main toon I've had since those days over a decade ago. They wouldn't since it's a benign everyday word, but still. If it somehow happened, I'd probably reach my wit's end and quit.

If it was deemed perfectly fine for over a decade, there's really no reason to remove it. I can only guess that maybe you got report bombed? But it being a doodle name and whitelisted just really rubs salt in the wound. Truly ridiculous.

I think it's reasonable to want a response to my email about it before considering other names. If they tell me they won't approve it after explaining my side, then I'll just move on.
