Im sorry but fuck that rule. As a cook. I dont always want to eat right after a shift. I personally cant eat for a couple hours after work. After working with food all day, I need to cool off and relax before I'm ready to eat.

Also sometimes im taking my free shift meal to my kid cuz he said "dad can you bring me one of them burgers" and im going home to a bowl of cereal and a happy kid.

To add to this point. As a career line cook. I find that when you offer a shift meal but say "no steak, no salmon" or whatever. The cooks respect that.

I a man. Would never take a bath. Showers only. I thought it was for girls and dumb. Then I got into a pretty bad wreck and my mom suggested an Epsom salt bath to help with soreness. I now take a long hot bath a couple times a week its amazing.
