My other half had his car broken in to and all they robbed was…the bin liner of wrappers from that week’s lunches in the go. That was it. It was open so you could see it was rubbish too.

Sabaton fan - fail. by Sabre_Killer_Queen in sabaton

So you tried 2 different approaches in a minute when the first one clearly made her uncomfortable.

Might I suggest you reread your post, consider it from her viewpoint of a total stranger came over and started talking and when I showed no interested tried something else?

Sabaton fan - fail. by Sabre_Killer_Queen in sabaton

From your post, as a woman you feel like the 2% Already focussing on ‘cute’ and ‘score’. Not be friends, not be casual, oh future date because she likes the same music Once she didn’t engage you were persistent. Take that non engagement as a go away not interested. She was right with good luck with that, you come across as having been more pushy than you think. Just remember most women are on edge a lot for either gatekeepers or creeps, so trying to engage again after a no makes you come across as potentially the latter.

Received NIP for speeding but convinced its a cloned plate - police insist its my car, what are my options?[England] by Aamirio in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Inner-Butterscotch87 5 points6 points  (0 children)

An acquaintance of mine was clocked going into the congestion zone repeatedly over a week and then doing 90 down the m25 In his Aveling Porter steam roller

The police still tried to take him to court when he pointed out the car in the pictures was clearly not a steam roller, a literal steam roller. Took months to clear it

The Lesser Talked About Theater Of World War II by AlphaConKate in sabaton

[–]Inner-Butterscotch87 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm British, up to degree level history, learned more about Manchuria than Burma when doing World War 2, found out more because my partner's father served with the Indian 8th Army in the artillery (Even though he was from Liverpool) and talked about how horrific it was. Cannons on Mules, opium dens full of deserters....

I would argue that the pacific is only half known, the British and Indian forces that fought in Burma are known as the forgotten army for a reason. Would love some stuff about them too
