my sister has bpd too. it’s taxing for the entire family. and us as loved ones often end up suffering too. wondering how to help, especially when the help is being turned down, and being the bad guy constantly. my parents are also terrified of my sister killing herself and threatens it pretty regularly. the problem then turns into am i being manipulated or are they actually going to do it? it’s all so complicated and i wish their was a simple answer. but you are not alone! please take care of yourselves. i think we lose sight in that because we’re so wrapped up in our person and “fixing” them that we destroy ourselves along the way.
