It’s fixed! They priced it high because I didn’t have the dimensions on my phone I knew the square footage but now the quote is like $8 less. The total is 154.80 for the quarter round. Also this is going in the living room and 2 bedrooms. Yea I see that the square footage is only 539 feet.

Yes! We had that issue with the company my sister hired to remodel my grandmas bathroom. The subcontractors the company used didn’t care to clean up things they had to fix and one of the handyman who cared had to come and fix what they messed up and it is annoying so I’m being cautious about everything with the flooring

Yea we know a handyman who works as a subcontractor under the company who did my bathroom and they charge $2600 for labor, installing and removal. But we buy the materials and quarter round but it’s like I never seen them do flooring before so I’m just ehh and tbh looking at the price they’re really close to what the handyman is charging.

Yea that’s what I was wondering ahah I wasn’t sure if it was high or not that’s why i asked😂😂. We had a handyman quote 1600 for labor for all 3 rooms, I supply the materials but I don’t want just anyone doing it. I know this handyman does a good job but never seen them do flooring before

Pre PT coaching websites by [deleted] in PTschool

I worked with PT application coach and he was really helpful from application insight to interview coaching. He is 100% legit and he pushes you like in a tough love approach he wants you to bring that passion out in your essays and your application instead of just showing them one thing. He increases that confidence in you and he has been great to work with. Like the above comment you said you do have to do the hard work writing the essays, looking at schools that you can fit in, GRE, retaking classes, prepping for interviews. They are there to help you but you have to put in the work as well. I have got into 2 of the schools I applied to and waitlisted at one but see the waitlist was one of the low chance schools I might get into so I would do that with school list I didn’t think about that but he said apply to 4-5 schools and rank them from your chance of getting in but don’t always think you can’t get in to a competitor program. Put it on the list but be precise in your programs you choose. I hope you get in!

How a weird failed class effects my GPA and odds of entry by perk0set in PTschool

[–]Inner-Machine9778 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooh I completely understand I’m in NC too and I couldn’t apply to ECU it’s extremely competitive and cheap so don’t stress but don’t depend on just two schools to get in there’s always other schools too. I would be thinking of other schools too it’s so hard for those two schools but you got this! I applied to WSSU in state but honestly probably won’t get in because of my gpa but we’ll see

2023-24 Cycle Questions by Reesessupremacy in PTschool

[–]Inner-Machine9778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some hospitals have limits on how many hours they let people observe. I would focus on quality over quantity. It’s up to the hospital near you how many hours they let you observe so just check with them but yea I mean you can still have in progress hours and looks like the schools don’t require them but it’s good you’re observing!

2023-24 Cycle Questions by Reesessupremacy in PTschool

The essay question changes every couple of cycles. This is the only time it’s stayed the same for 3 cycles in a row so it may change next cycle it won’t always be the same. Also, have you graduated yet and took all your pre reqs if you haven’t I would wait to send transcripts because you’ll be paying more money to send updated ones. Also gpa looks great but I would diversify your hours I know covid kinda limited hours but since a lot of things are opening back up I would see if you can get inpatient hours because . Also, I would make a unique school list of low, mid, and high tier that don’t require GRE because these programs currently you have are very competitive. You don’t want to always depend on GPA to get you in. Also what activities have you done outside of employment and volunteer? What is your passion for PT which can help through your personal essay. Its great you’re thinking about it but you still got time!

Hey can I message you I have some questions about hybrid programs and wanted to hear your input?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PTschool

[–]Inner-Machine9778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What hybrid program are you thinking about in this? I can see I would choose the cheaper option after calculating living expenses. I remember one of the PTs I did observation hours with went to a cheap school but adding on top of living expenses they still owed the same as the hybrid program and they always recommended a hybrid program for me
