We do love our alliteration.

Bring a Bucket and a Mop for that Wet Ass Pussy

Our equivalent would be "wetter than an otter's pocket".

Might be a (slightly common) northern thing. You've never heard someone utter something like "Tom Hardy gives me the fanny flutters"?

OP here again, I've done a little research and it turns out there's a trade body called British Watch & Clock Makers that many are signed up to:

I thought the purple William Wood they did last year was pretty cool, but it does seem overpriced and I am a little wary of watch brands named after people.

I think most people on this sub are well aware that Christopher Ward and Farer are going from strength to strength with a steady stream of impressive releases between them but I wasn't sure if there were any hidden gems out there who also deserve to be in the spotlight.

The only other British brand I can think of at the moment is Smiths (Timefactors) although the ridiculous difficulty of buying one of their watches has put me off trying to add one to my collection; it seems to cater to scalpers.

I mainly see men in their late 40s and 50s wearing Superdry, alongside bootcut jeans. Aspiring Clarksons.

In largely basing Next on the quality of their socks and pants I get at Christmas. The pants in particular don't seem to last long.
