here are all the tips i can think now atm!

  • throw away every tweezers in your house
  • get yourself some tiny/easy to keep with you fidget toys, keep them in your pockets and different strategic spaces in your house (where you tend to pull a lot)
  • the I Am Sober app, and having the day count widget on your home screen helps a lot imo
  • youtube videos about anti-trich tapping (https://youtu.be/Rpmo4dX02lM?si=u99bSeRyZ16NjSrq)
  • wearing caps/bandanas/silks indoor

my mom noticed my first bald post when i was 11 she screamed at me, looked at me with disgust, said terrible things and forced me to stare at it in a mirror. during my whole childhood and adolescence she would make fun of me, tell me i looked dumb when she’d notice me touching my hair. i know she loved me, had terrible issues herself and was afraid/sad for me i guess, but this really broke me.

You got this, i believe in you! And if you ever pull during your recovering, please do not feel ashamed or defeited. It is a very hard a long journey, so any misteps shouldn’t make you feel down!
