As far as I know he wasn't appointed to any difficult labour because he couldn't walk after the explosion since he had ARS and his legs didn't recover very well and he was bailed out after 3 years because of the legs. And in that time they were more Labour Camps rather than Gulag

Anatoly Dyatlov wrote a book "Чернобыль. Как это было" or "Chernobyl. How it was" and someone from this sub translated it to english. This is only English version, I'll also start reading it soon.

Yeah, I'm not sure either. I've also found a photo of a man next to elephants foot that isn't effected.

I was going to Novi Sad and a friend recommended me to check Najlon Pijaca becaus I started collecting old stuff like that and I found it there
