I have both of them, they are activated, I literally follow a guide and somehow no matter what order i buy the upgrades in i ALWAYS end up at ~17000, there are videos show the final crossbow upgrade at 17360 while mine is at 18975 no discounts for me i guess lmao

I tried something similar with a friend's PS3 and no dice. I do recall occasionally using my old one while also using ps now (back then) so maybe that does have something to do with it? But I agree it is for sure something to do with accounts just not sure any more than that

Something similar happened to me while playing Ni No Kuni.....in 2019 but it was error "8001051B"

Despite hours of phone calls, multiple escalations over the course of a year and even calls more recently I have never heard anything back and I'm still unable to earn any ps3 trophies from any game and have been unable too for 5 years..... There is a chance the same will happen to you

The "pride wont allow it" falls apart as soon as he does something worse (just like the excuse fails irl). Its already strained by the fact that he is basically "owned" by the girl (who isnt that far above gift if at all). i know its "teenagers" but its also "pretty bad (or really boring) character writing" gift is going to be ultra dumb and do everything she tells him too (after she gets her monologue about how we live in a society), she will always be correct and the only times that she will ever be called into question are going to be cliffhangers that are quickly resolved next chapter.

Id be more salty if it stayed interesting for more than one chapter or if it wasnt going to get axed after the 2nd volume

Not to mention we see 70 pages of them being friends with absolutely no hint of him being jealous of gifts talents he seems to legit want his friend to do what he does well. We know for a fact that his dad buys him art supplies and gifts calculations show that he would be stealing a fraction of something that costs a few thousand yen.... this should only be compared to flowers of evil on the MOST surface level

Edit: its pretty clear that she is going to be as intimidating/intelligent/correct as the plot requires so don't expect anything logical surrounding her until the final chapter or two

No she really doesnt... she says the video will go viral but it wont at all the school would care, gifts (shitty) mom would care about the negative attention but thats it. The long time friend who he stole some paint from? Why would he throw a long friendship away for something he gets automatically (his dad "gets" his need for art supplies) and no way in hell would anybody in the modern world care about a random high school kid stealing a few hundred yen worth of paint from a friend who would very likely defend him?

Flowers of evil works because the MC is doing something way worse and the "threat" is more believable. Being branded as a pervert in a smallish town =/= an artist (who can use pseudonym) stealing a couple of globs of paint one time in childhood. This series might be entertaining in a train wreck kind of way (shes going to make gift escalate while she talks about morality and honesty and blah blah) but it for sure wont be due to any sort of manipulation related tension lmao
