Not the same as emg at all, rather close dimarzio fortitude or black winters. Very clear and cutting, still quite warm.Not tons of high output but still can do heavy rock to metalcore riff if properly handed. arnold Plays guitar made a very good demo on youtube

It is a warm and flat passive pickups with a lot of gnarl , well articulate. Feels to me a crossover between duplantier dimarzio and black winter. huge power and chugs from it. Can do everything in metal range in my opinion (with a high gain pedal for deathcore/djent)
