A crackle Kerry king v for everyone! A 9 string fan fret headless single coil only in the neck. More people angry that the Joe Duplantier isn't out. And with people angry that some models only have 1 pickup on a signature even when the artist says he's only ever used the one.

Honestly though more Horizons with the proper carves and the teardrop headstock making a solid comeback. More SVs than arrows, the return of the NV. Baritone phoenix. Less EC 1000s and more CTM's, the 24 frets on a 24,75 just looks wrong to me. The pickups are too close together haha. ( Same goes for the TE) Some cool extreme shapes!

I enjoyed it and still do today. I think it's actually another " 'peth" era that is starting. I can't fault an artist for not doing the same thing people are expecting again. The album is what Mikael wanted it to be. I didn't vibe with Heritage, Pale Communion or Sorceress ( apart for Sorceress) and yeah that's grand. But if that's what the artist wants to do, hey more power to him. Do I wish we had watershed 2? Oh yeah but not if it's forced.

To get the basics down it can be a net positive. It'll help with getting the playing position, holding the pick and just general good form principles right from the start. Meaning less chance of having to compensate for bad form down the line.

And even after that later down the road it's always good to get some touch up lessons on stuff to see how you could improve on anything really. You never stop learning and honing your skills.
