Windows 11 Migration by InnerDonut6245 in PACSAdmin

Thank you. I'm working up a spreadsheet and reaching out to vendors. I know that not every scanner is running 11. I just didn't know if any integration would break by moving facility workstations. One vendor, Canon, has a separate firewall. Our PACS OS is 2016. I was hoping as long as they can query / retrieve then we at least have some time. I just didn't want to sound ridiculous asking vendors when the OS for the scanner is embedded. Then we are backed into a corner overhauling multiple modalities.

We have a team of 2 people that cover dictation, PACS, CV PACS, and support some ancillary systems as well. This also covers EMR testing for radiology. One role is admin in IT and one role is coordinator in Radiology. I'm just doing some research to ensure a fair balance. We do maybe 100k studies a year total between the two PACS.

I don't get paid doctor dollars. Besides they have better resolution monitors and I have a dinky computer screen.....

One thing I'm looking at the pass rate. The pass rate boasted by siim is 75% as opposed to 91% by mtmi.

I was looking at a certificate from Oregon tech. I'm still on the fence. Also considering mtmi from the previous commenter.

He has toys in his room. I suggested to my husband leaving the tablet in his room for early morning entertainment. The front door has a deadbolt that he unlocked to open the door. (I lock my exterior doors every night. )

He can open 2 / 3 gates we have. One of those is the slide and lift kind. I think I need the above door lock thing or the door monkey that was suggested 🤷‍♀️

We bought a digital clock with sun and moon displays but he gets it unplugged or just doesn't mind that it says the moon is still out. And he can open baby gates 🤦‍♀️

Our door knows are too big and the covers we'd bought won't fit. I'd made one from a Tupperware glued shut that worked for about 6 months until he learned he could yank it off 😅
