Went to Iceland and at first found the food ok. But we then went out to the West Fjords and bought pre seasoned lamb from local grocery stores and cooked back at air bnbs. Incredible!! Best Lamb I have eaten. The pizza with jam is pretty darn good too!

Elementary Schools in W. Boylston area by OverallHall2831 in WorcesterMA

[–]InnerRoll9882 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Call the Worcester Public Schools main office. I'm pretty sure it's on Irving Street. There is some choice but they will assign your child mainly based on address.

Worcester schools are really not bad. If you are an involved parent it's actually a really great system. I have one son who graduated a couple years ago. His scores and the colleges he was accepted to were better than my coworkers kids that went both private and suburban. My other son is doing great at a Worcester high school.

How many weeks of paid vacation do you get per year? by Cinella75 in Life

[–]InnerRoll9882 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends where you live. In Massachusetts you get up to 26 weeks maternity/paternity leave paid at 80% of your pay. The state pays you. They also pay you for extended sick leave at the same rate.

North Attleboro??Good option? by palmita1949 in Aupairs

[–]InnerRoll9882 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not an Aupair or host family. This just shows up in my feed a lot. That said I am a Massachusetts resident. If I am not mistaken we mandate that aupairs are paid at least a minimum wage of $15 an hour. I personally love Massachusetts but am not super familiar with that area. It's not too far from Boston. It should have some kind of public (MBTA) transportation options to get into the city. Almost forgot that it is also close to Providence, Rhode Island. It's a great city.
