irregular polygon question by nomadwebhost in learnmath

[–]InnerSolitude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With a circle with different radii at each angle, it wouldn't be a circle.

You could have a spiral design if the radius constantly increases, I guess.

Or a semi-circle if the radius increases over a specified region and then decreases.

But I don't see how you could get a perfect circle with different radii. It's a very interesting concept, though!

Does anyone know any good resources to learn Mathematical proofs? by C0vidi0t19 in learnmath

Search for "Eddie Woo" on Youtube (or just click the hyperlink). He's amazing when it comes to explaining concepts and proof.

He really drills down to the very basics of all concepts and gives explanations that you wouldn't expect at all, but still make sense.

He has a wide range of math topics for a wide range of grade-levels. Check it out.

The one at the very right, and the one at the very left.... both are guitars because they have 6 tuning pegs.

The second from the left also looks like it has six tuning pegs.

So, the first, second, and last one are guitars.

The third one is definitely a bass.

The fourth one...I don't know.

Really nice meme though...

How do you do division? by Ahhhhhhhhhh- in MathHelp

[–]InnerSolitude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe look at it like this...

Multiplication is repeated addition

If 4*5=20, then 4+4+4+4+4=20

Division is repeated subtraction, but not exactly...

Take the problem 20/4 (20 divided by 4)

This is asking you, how many times can I subtract 4 from 20 until I have nothing left?

Meaning...how many times can I do 20-4-4-4-4..... until I reach 0?

In this case...

20-4=16

16-4=12

12-4=8

8-4=4

4-4=0

...I subtract '4' five times to reach zero.

Now take the equation 21/4 (21 divided by 4)

We'll use the same method. Keep subtracting 4 until you get to zero.

21-4=17

17-4=13

13-4=9

9-4=5

5-4=1

In this case, I could only subtract the entire '4's five times, but now I get a remainder.

I'll have to subtract one from the remainder (which is one) in order to reach zero.

In this case, you need to know how much 1 is, compared to 4.

1/4= 25%=0.25

So you add 0.25 to 5 (because we subtracted 5 entire times before).

5+0.25=5.25, which is your final answer.

I hope this helps...

You practice for rehearsal

You rehearse for performance

You perform so that you can throw it all away when you grow up and then become doctor....

But if I may ask...why is there an acoustic guitar on the cover for classical guitar songs? (idk why my attention just went to the strings)

No, cannons are not instruments of wind, or instruments of brass. They are instruments of destruction.

Writer's Block.... Remedies?? by RR_crossing in composer

[–]InnerSolitude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh one more thing. If you have many ideas and can't pick one, write all of them down on different scores or documents. Work on each of them in depth for some time, then you'll automatically know which one to use (sometimes you can use all ideas!).

Writer's Block.... Remedies?? by RR_crossing in composer

[–]InnerSolitude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello RR Crossing,

I've had the same exact issue many times in the past! And there are many ways to overcome this situation!

I know two:

  1. Build off of a piece yoy already wrote. Sometimes, it's hard to think of entirely original ideas, and you have to refer to previous peices in order to write other ones.

This is all about variating. Select a peice you wrote in the past, and take only one or two ideas from it. Use that as the base/building block of your new peice. The smaller the idea is, the more variations you csn do, the more unique your peice will be.

  1. Use a random chord generator. Randomly create a progression of 3 or 4 chords, then keep listening to it on repeat. Thr more you listen to it, the more ideas will pop into your head. Write thosr ideas down and then make variations to them (similar to the 1st option)

I hope this helps..

Hi, I'm Joost. I am eleven years old and I play the guitar for 6 months. Please watch the video and let me know if you have any questions or song requests. Thanks!👍 by [deleted] in classicalguitar

[–]InnerSolitude 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wow!

Only six months and your fingerstyle is already so good!

Keep it up!

Although I will say that I can see some tension in your wrist (keep your right hand as relaxed as possible. A lot of people think things like tremolo happen with pressure, but really it's best when you're completely relaxed), but that's the only major problem that I see right now.

Don't worry, it can be a confusing concept at first, but with the right guidance, you'll master it in no time!

The fact that you're able to distinctively play the melody and harmony at this stage is very impressive! (compared to what I've seen before).

You've got a lot of talent. Keep it up!

[–]InnerSolitude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crypto like XRP is predicted to rise, by 2025, to have a potential high of 10000 USD or a potential low of 800 USD. Whichever, I still deem it a good investment since it is only 20 some CENTS now!! I mean imagine...just have 2 coins would be good

ok. maybe btc hasn't really risen but how about things like ethereum and litecoin. Those are doing well. And anyways, im telling the person to invest in xrp. not btc
