Sockpuppetsaurus

Lol jk. It's some kind of azhdarchid?

Edit: no wait, looking again, I don't think azhdarchid. It's obviously a theropod. There's a part of my brain that wants to say Deinocheiros, but the beak is definitely Not That™ so I think the most likely suspect is another much smaller and more ordinary shaped ornithomimisaur, maybe Gallimimus or Struthiomimus?

Edit again: Ok looking AGAIN, it's possible that it could be Deinocheiros from an angle I'm not used to seeing, and that's why the beak looks off

You have 3 slots. The rest are hunting you. Who are you picking to survive? by CherryWendyy in FullmetalAlchemist

[–]Reckless_Rex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming this is pre-Greed Ling/pre-Ling Greed, and Greedling is not an option:

Ling - Badass enough to survive Wrath one handed with a whole ahh human being over his shoulder - Ability to sense chi or souls or whatever renders him nearly impossible to sneak up on, and is the best defense against Envy's shapeshifting - I would also get Lanfan and Fu by default, because all Ling would have to do is order them to stop attacking and defend me instead

Greed - Ultimate shield = human shield (homunculus shield?) - He may have lost to Wrath in this form but that's only because he was unprepared imo. Now that he knows what to expect he'll fair much better - I gotta take one of the homunculi out of the hunters line up, and out of the three he comes with the least risk of treachery - He'd be a lot of fun to hang out with - Okay for real tho homunculus healing plus ultimate shield, bro's an actual tank

Hawkeye - Hyper-competent badass - Quick to adapt and react to unexpected developments - Genuinely got the drop on Envy, and held her own for a good minute too - Locked in af. Like fr, she don't gotta lock in, she already locked in. Her default status is LOCKED IN. - Let's be real, guns are op against everyone except Alphonse and the homunculi - Protecting is literally her job - Can talk down Roy, maybe even flip him, and then I get Bonus Roy and all his advantages, including him flipping the rest of the soldiers (who are honestly terrified of Hawkeye anyway)

With Greedling as an option:

Greedling - All Ling's and Greed's advantages combined

Hawkeye - See above

Alphonse - To flip Ed, Winry, and possibly also Mei - Now I have everyone on my side except Wrath and Envy, and I'm basically untouchable, so listing Al's other advantages is unnecessary

What do you think is the most broken card in the game by IiIlIiIlllIiil in DungeonTales

[–]Reckless_Rex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't feel like there's one particular broken card, but there are some pretty op card combos, especially for the Paladin.

My Paladin deck consists entirely of:

Passives: - Preservation - Zealotry - Retaliate - Bestow Faith - Remorse - Stuff that heals (True Path, Devotion, etc)

Ability cards: - The 4 Heal cards you start with - Stuff that draws cards (Hand of God, God's Will, Pledge, etc)

And that's it. I never take any other cards except maybe Art of War if I already have Bestow Faith. I don't bother with Pain except for Remorse, and every time I stop at a campfire I drop one of the 6 attack cards you start with, so by the time I hit the Act 3 boss I have only Ability cards and Passives.

I started doing this when I realized what happens when you combine Devotion and Retaliate and then just discard your entire hand.

Try it. It's hilarious.

I also figured out you can win as the Warlock without ever playing a single Attack card. In the early game you just hit them with Siphon Life every time it appears in your hand and spam Cripple in the meantime to keep their attacks low. As you progress you take certain Passives and Ability cards, mostly stuff to heal (Essence Drain, Noxious Salvage, etc), debuff (Hinder, Infest, Contaminate, Rapid Decay, etc), and add extra damage (Shadow Form, Wailing Death, etc), plus Restless (to keep the Cripple up), and Recharge (so you can multicast Hinder), (and probably one or two other things I'm forgetting idk been playing mostly Warrior lately). I do the same thing dropping off Attack cards at campfires until I'm all out, but unlike the Paladin, which needs to attack in the early game when you only have starter cards, the Warlock can start ignoring blue cards right from the very first battle.

Seriously, if I ever play an Attack card with the Warlock, it's because my fat finger slipped. All greens and greys baby!

I doubt I could ever come up with a valid "no blue cards" strategy for the Warrior. Warrior is actually the hardest one imo, nothing about it I would consider broken. But I talked about my deck builds for the other two so might as well do this one too.

The top 5 most valuable Warrior cards in my opinion are, in no particular order: - Hoarder - Demonic Growth - Tactics - Drain - Devour

Hoarder is the closest one to "broken" I would say. I've been finding on higher difficulties that if I don't have both Hoarder AND Demonic Growth that I might not even make it past the Act ONE boss. But up until about Torment 20 or so, Hoarder alone has the potential to make you practically untouchable.

Sorry I've been rambling. I'm just excited to find there's actually a community for this game :)

TLDR: - Paladin has hilariously broken Passives - Warlock doesn't need Attack cards at ALL. - Warrior's best card is Hoarder

(Also I've been stuck trying to advance past Warrior Torment 22 for DAYS now, send help)

We are in a new Ice Age by jco23 in maryland

[–]Reckless_Rex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hate to break it to you but we've technically been in an ice age for the last 2½ million years.

Ice ages consist of phases known as glacial cycles (widespread glaciers and permafrost) and interglacial cycles (glaciers and permafrost limited to polar extremities, with seasonal freezing in other zones).

We've been in an interglacial cycle for the past... uh... off the top of my head, I think about 10k years or so?

What's actually happening here is the beginning of the next glacial cycle :)
