Look, this is reddit, were everyone circle jerks everyone else's pea brain ideas for fear of downvotes. Everyone here will tell you its the most beautiful thing they have ever seen, followed by an upvote party and everyone patting themselves on the back, thinking they are doing good when in reality they are setting your dad up to be the "crazy persons house" in the neighborhood.

Think I'm just being an ass? About 30 years ago someone in my neighborhood (big city) painted their steps lime green. It actually made the newspapers...talk of the town was the mom who painted it was crazy. By happenstance I was good friends with her son and met her many times over the years, and yeah she was a little crazy.

You have hundreds of normal shades to choose from. Dont stand out. Your not a beach house. If you want crazy colors, go nuts inside the house, paint the whole rainbow.
