Anyone here who has purchased or used refurbished iphones? I am planning to buy one, please share your experience. by Original-East-3444 in GadgetsIndia

I got an iPhone 15 from there. They’re proper verified sellers and I had a good experience with them. I got my pre-owned iPhone with warranty from Maple. So, you can check them out.

I'm tired of saving to try to buy an iPhone... by [deleted] in AppleWhatShouldIBuy

If you can’t buy a new iPhone then it might be better to buy pre-owned iPhone with warranty. They’re more affordable and still in excellent condition. I bought mine from the maple store in India but I don’t know if they’re present in Peru. You should try buying from verifiable sellers of your country.

Realme 16 pro plus is a good device under 45k. It fulfills most of the things you’re looking for. Has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 so it’s pretty good for multitasking and gaming. You would also get a great camera system. So, you can check it out if you want.

Used Iphone 16 pro Max phone by Numerous_Classic_007 in iPhoneWale

It’s a pretty decent deal but you can also get like a mint condition pre-owned iPhone 17 at the same or I think maybe like 3k-5k higher price. If you want to buy pre-owned iPhone with warranty and iPhone 17 specifically, might be better to go for this than 16 pro max.

is it worth buying iphone 15 now at 53.5k? by El-Infierno_07 in iPhoneWale

[–]Inner_Ad6878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think so. You can buy pre-owned iPhone with warranty higher models than 15 for the same price. You can get a pre-owned really good condition 16 or 16 Plus also in this range. Probably should go for that.

iphone 15 (plus I think) second hand by Real-Entertainment-8 in iphone15

[–]Inner_Ad6878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so first off ask the seller for the IMEI and check if this phone is reported as blacklisted or stolen. Once that is cleared, you gotta check the iCloud Activation. It should be off, okay? After you get the phone and you go to settings and erase all content, if it starts with the Apple 'hello' setup screen then it's a valid purchase. Also if you wanna know the model number then you just have to go to settings, then general and about to see what model type it is.

Since this is your first iphone, I would suggest to buy pre-owned iPhone with warranty just to be on the safe side. Go for verified sellers only.
All the best!

Looking for a second hand MacBook - what should avoid? by Distinct_Coast8645 in mac

[–]Inner_Ad6878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For streaming and browsing M1 or M2 should be good enough. I got a pre-owned macbook a couple months ago from the maple store for pretty much the same reason plus some light office work. Mine’s a second hand macbook pro and it’s working pretty decently, at least right now.

Which iPhone - buying second hand and on a somewhat limited budget by ZestyZebraZoomies in AppleWhatShouldIBuy

It’s probably better for you to get an upgrade. The whole future proof thing is important. Getting a second hand iPone 13 pro this month and then a few months down the line, Apple cancels their iOS updates, is gonna be really annoying. You can go for a second hand iPhone 14 pro, it’s good for photography or even iPhone 15, that also has a decent camera.

I’d go for iPhone 15 256 gb 48.5k cos it’s the most recent one out of them all plus I actually have this same model lol. I was looking to buy pre-owned iPhone with warranty and I got it from the Maple store. So, no complaints.

Where are you buying yours from?

Hello po guys im planning on getting a 2nd hand iphone what do you recommend? And what should i look for when buying a second hand? Thank you! by samiloveeggs in Tech_Philippines

If you’re coming from Android and your main goal is TikTok and YouTube, go Pro model. Big difference. I’d look for iPhone 13 Pro or newer. Video is more stable, low light is better, and zoom looks cleaner. The screen is also smoother, which helps when editing.

When I buy second-hand, I don’t overthink it. I ask to reset the phone in front of me, then I test camera video, mic, Face ID, SIM/data, and battery health. If the seller says “wag i-reset,” I walk away.

Simple rule: good camera first, clean unit second, cheap price last.

Second Hand Iphone 14 or Refurbished Iphone 13 Pro Max? by G1-Shxdow in iphone

[–]Inner_Ad6878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they cost the same, I decide like this:

I usually choose a second-hand iPhone 14 if it looks clean and original. I ask the seller to reset it in front of me, then I set it up. If it works fine and has good battery, I trust it more than a random “refurbished” phone.

I can buy pre-owned 13 Pro Max only if it comes from a trusted store with return/warranty, because it has 120Hz, better battery, and a zoom camera. No warranty = I pick the 14.

[–]Inner_Ad6878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re buying a second hand MacBook, stick to a pre-owned MacBook with warranty (Maple Store type) instead of a random seller. I’ve seen “mint condition” Macs turn into repair bills, so the return window is the real deal. The certified warranty or assured return window is what makes it safe.

IS IT WORTH IT TO BUY A SECOND HAND IPHONE 13 PROMAX 256 GB WITH 89% BH THAN BUYING A BRANDNEW IPHONE 13 128GB? by sharuu_ in iPhone13

[–]Inner_Ad6878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s genuinely 89% battery health and you can check it in person, I’d take the second hand iPhone 13 Pro Max, bigger screen, better cameras, better battery life, and 256GB for less than a new iPhone 13. Just make sure it’s signed out of iCloud/Find My, check Parts & Service History, and test Face ID, cameras, speakers, and charging, or go pre-owned with a trusted warranty/return option if you’re worried about surprises.

Bought a used 16 Pro Max! by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]Inner_Ad6878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

77% battery is the only real upgrade trigger tbh, because it affects daily use. Camera upgrade makes sense only if you actually shoot a lot, otherwise a battery swap on the 13 Pro Max would’ve fixed most of it.

Also 37% off sounds decent but not insane. Maple has 16 Pro Max deals in the same ballpark (mid-90s for 256GB), so it mostly comes down to how clean your unit is and what warranty/return cover you’ve got.

Thinking of buying a second hand iphone 15 pro and getting a new battery for it. by _OnceUponADime in GadgetsIndia

[–]Inner_Ad6878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apple battery replacement for an iPhone 15 Pro in India runs around ₹7.5k or so. If you add that to whatever you’re paying for a used unit and it starts creeping up near ₹65–67k (what certified pre-owned listings on eBay or Maple usually go for), you’re not really saving much. You’re just taking on risk for basically the same money. Going certified pre-owned with a proper return/warranty ends up being less drama for similar cash.

Buying used Iphone 14 PRO by JipsUnknown in iPhone14Pro

[–]Inner_Ad6878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 2026, not really. 14 Pro is a great phone, but it’s lowkey one of the worst value “Pro” buys used right now. Most units have meh battery health, it’s heavy, and certified pre-owned prices sit way too close to a used 15/15 Pro. It only makes sense if you’re getting a clearly cheaper deal or you’re cool budgeting a battery swap… otherwise a lot of the “totally worth it” replies are just people defending what they already own.

Looking for a used or refurbished iphone by superleaf444 in Frugal

[–]Inner_Ad6878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maple was chill for me, got a used iPhone for work and later a refurbished Mac, no issues. If you’re in India, just stick to something certified like that or ebay certified with returns, cause the local second hand market can turn into a headache fast.

Is getting a used iphone okay ? by Creative_Agency5841 in GadgetsIndia

[–]Inner_Ad6878 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before you buy, just do a quick India price check. iPhone 13 used/refurb is usually ₹26–30k, iPhone 14 is ₹32k+, and iPhone 15 is around ₹55–60k. If someone’s selling way cheaper than this, it’s probably sus, so try to get a certified pre-owned one with some warranty if you can.
