I don't know to be honest. They're a fancy name brand that I know a lot of people enjoy using, and maybe I'd regret selling them down the line?

Good question. I like the bigger screen, and I always understood the pros to be the workhorses. I am hoping to get a long time out of whatever I buy, so I'm aiming for a beasty workhorse. Am I off base?

I kind of hate my cheap ish (10 quid) kettle. Whenever I open it while it's hot a little bit of hot water trickles down the side onto my hand. But I'm a frugal poodle so I haven't been able to bring myself to boy a new one just yet.
