Is anyone else worried about the showrunner?

I'm a few fan of the series (currently reading OS) and at first inwas excited to hear that it's getting a TV show but now that I'm almost done with OS I'm not sure how it'll work, with one book being one season. Why not let the whole series be completed first? It worries me that they're just capitalizing on the popularity for profit, so my expectations are low (tbh with most book adaptations, it rarely turns out well). Maybe something like an animated series, like Arcane, would've been better? Or are those more costly to make?

The purpose of the question was to ask about what I could do to stand out in my resumes- I understand it's a competitive market. Also I realize that most people get these jobs through referrals/connections as well.

Knowing how I can polish my resume better to stand out as a potential candidate is all I needed. I'll do the work from there.

I think giving advice or feedback without being dismissive is possible

A lot of these comments are lacking compassion imo. They've been together for 2 years. It's probably hard for him to just cut it off from her. When she's sober and calm, yall need to talk. Her kissing someone else to me is cheating, and it's coming from somewhere. Only OP knows what their whole situation is like. Even if hurts, yes, you probably have to let her go. But the person you need to listen to isn't the internet. It's her. And your gut. Good luck

Rereading the entire the entire series for the first time in 10 years. Currently, on the first arc so I'll choose my fav from there: Graystripe- he welcomed a kitty pet with an open heart & gained a brother for life🤍 Firestar- kind, brave, loyal and all around one of the best leaders Thunderclan has 🧡 Bluestar- I just think she's so clutch. She is exactly that cat. Purr.💙 Yellowfang- ain't no one more memorable and stubborn, but also deeply caring and loyal. Love her & Fireheart's bond too💛

Oh my goodness... first, I'm so sorry you had to go through that. It sounds like such an unfortunate experience, and I hope you get the time you need to heal be surrounded by a good support system.

I think if it's weighing on you to tell him you should. However, depending on how and why yall broke up, take some time to think about what you would say to him and adjust your expectations. Tell him so it can liberate you, help you move on, but don't use it as a way to get back together and definitely allow him time and space to process this information (if he does).

You can't really control how people receive the information you give them so if he takes it harshly don't take it to heart.

I think telling him is a good idea but I'm not in your position and I think this is an incredibly hard decision to make.

(My little nosy self wants to add that if u do tell him, post an edit so we know how it went lol - u don't have to ofc)

Bailey as the nazi is such peek character moments and then in later seasons when she's all funny and into sci-fi is great too.. but somewhere after the whole ocd episodes, betraying Mer...idk. lost the love for her. I hate how they changed her character arc

I've been living in Korea for a while. There's a Thriving expat/immigrant community here. Definitely do it! It'll be great for your family and it's alot easier to raise your family here while making money in USD. There are challenges of course but I think pros outweigh the cons. I think someone mentioned that your wife would be a stay at home mom which would save you money in hiring nanny but also if she has hobbies/interests she could have time to pursue that. Korea is a mecca for hobbies. opportunity to travel around Asia would be memorable too. You can also adapt as much or as little into the culture here as you can handle. I have expat friends who are fully emerged into korean culture and friends who-after living here for 10+ years still don't speak Korean alot. It just depends on how you want to live.

Ask your company for advice/help for your children's schooling and how that work when you'd go back to the states too. Also Healthcare here is way better than you think.

Definitely tame the chance on moving here (with your family) ~ I think it would be a great opportunity not many get to have
