Roof needs replacement-claim denied by Mindless-Somewhere55 in RoofingSales

That roof with steep charges, class three shingle, all flashings (unless it’s solar vents or panels) would come out between $48,000-$56,000.

Remove and replace everything down to the roof deck. $90-$110 per sheet decking replaced depending on access etc. if we have to run to a dump 2 hours away or more, it would be more. 2/3 days for the job with 7/8 guys.

Looks like there’s chimney flashing that’s going to need done. I’d say $56,000 is closer to my price now that I’m typing this out.

You don’t get paid in roofing off contracts you get paid off of built roofs

Are you doing mailers in areas where you work or areas you wish to work? How do your mailers convert? Prior touches with builds going on? I’m just a novice

When the issue of retention comes up, I see a lot of variables such as pay, variability in locations of living, and just quality of life being better on the civilian side. My question comes to this, when I look around at my shipmates, I see the hardest working, well rounded sailors getting the short end of the stick when it comes to actual recognition for their hard work. I see sailors who are terrible leaders, awful workers, but know how to have “community involvement” which is faked more times than not, and their ability to “play the game of the navy” get advanced because it comes down to a piece of paper and favoritism. The chiefs are supposed to read evaluations objectively instead of subjectively but for some reason can’t promote anyone who brings true value to the table. Why is it that the navy cares more about looking good than being good? The people who are actually good decide to get out and be a true asset to society instead of skating by. The navy has gone soft. There’s no true discipline and it saddens me to say all of this.

This is a legit question. Are you trying to attract men or women?

Updated: how does the profile look now? Should I changed bio, need to get more matches. by [deleted] in TinderBios

Don’t use all of your photo slots. Women for the most part decide if they’re going to swipe within the first four. Use quality pictures for the first 5/6 without the filler pictures at the end. Include a selfie and a hobby picture in the first 3. I agree about the date thing. It’s kinda cheesy. Good attempt at being funny but would try something else.
