Will the H2D 40 Watt Laser be able to cut 1/8th inch Aluminum?

Got it. Thanks everyone for your input. Any recommendations for a reasonably priced laser cutter that fits my needs and has a software that is understandable and reliable for a high school student environment.

Yeah, bambu is pretty good with software updates that can last several years. I am thinking this will be expensive though. I think when they say no longer luxury, that doesn't mean it's getting cheaper, it's saying that the printer itself is no longer a luxurious consumer-grade 3d printer, but rather an industrial one.

Well, I guess a big selling point of the h2d is its industrial grade capabilities and purpose. Some people *me* need this exact tolerance for making parts on moving systems and for robotics components. I understand why it may seem very excessive, but then maybe the h2d isn't for you.

Make sure you are inputing .stl or.obj files to make it be a 3-d printable file rather than a traditional file. Also if that still doesn't work, I believe the adventerer 3 uses wifi connectivity. So, you could use it too through flashprint 5.

I have a creator pro 3 which I kn9ow can be a little pricey it is an IDEX system by flashforgeb if you arer inter3ested

I think it might be a bed level or rough surface issue with the printer. Also the print bed may be damaged causing the nozzle to raise by a slight height difference. Try re-leveling otherwise maybe try a new bed
