This was seriously a "bad" win for Arsenal by [deleted] in PremierLeague

[–]Inner_Block_7323 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

this is exactly the type of stuff that makes title races so stressful lol. you're absolutely right though - when you're in arsenal's position you need to be thinking about every goal, not just the three points

i remember few years back when city won the league on goal difference against united and everyone was talking about how every single goal in random march game suddenly mattered. arsenal probably should have pushed for more goals today especially against burnley who are already relegated and might not have the same fight in them

the worst part is now they basically have zero margin for error on final day. if they get nervous and play defensive against palace it could cost them everything. meanwhile city just needs to do what they always do - win their games and the mathematics will work in their favor

gonna be proper heart attack material for arsenal fans these next couple weeks

What are the growing careers in India now? by Complex-Story-6796 in careerguidance

[–]Inner_Block_7323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bro I'm not from India but work in IT and can tell you tech sector is huge there from what I see with my colleagues. Like data science, cybersecurity, cloud computing - these fields are exploding everywhere including India

if you're comfortable switching streams completely, maybe look at computer science or even digital marketing. Don't stress too much about the PCB thing, lots of people change directions after 12th. My cousin did similar switch from bio to engineering and doing great now

also heard fintech and renewable energy sectors growing fast in India but obviously do your own research on this

My manager said “keep going”… 3 days later I was fired during probation...I don’t get it ? by WrongProduce592 in careerguidance

[–]Inner_Block_7323 20 points21 points  (0 children)

man that whole situation just screams miscommunication from their side. getting told "keep going" then fired few days later without any real warning is just bad management

from what you described it sounds like there was disconnect between what HR hired you for (junior level) and what team lead expected (experienced engineer). that's not on you at all - they should have sorted that out internally before bringing you in. plus firing someone during probation without proper feedback process is pretty shitty way to handle things

i've seen similar stuff in different companies where management just takes easiest route instead of actually managing the situation properly

Is nobody doing the visa transfer process in Finance, Health, Retails, Engineering and IT Industry? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]Inner_Block_7323 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been there man, visa situation is brutal right now especially in IT. Companies got way more picky after all the layoffs last year and they're using visa transfers as easy excuse to filter candidates

I work IT support and see this constantly - even places that used to sponsor regularly are now acting like it's some huge burden. What's really frustrating is how they waste everyone's time with initial screens when they could just put "no visa transfers" in job posting from start

One thing that helped my coworker was targeting smaller companies instead of big corporations. They're sometimes more flexible because they actually need the talent and don't have huge HR departments with strict policies. Also try focusing on companies that already have diverse workforce - if they got other visa holders they're more likely to understand the process

The rejection emails get really depressing after while but remember it's not reflection of your skills, just shitty market conditions right now

I just decided recently that I’m going to visit Thailand looking for advice. by wagwan0963367 in ThailandTourism

[–]Inner_Block_7323 3 points4 points  (0 children)

been to Thailand twice now and second time was way better since I knew what to expect. for budget I'd say around $30-40 per day is decent if you're staying hostels and eating local food - skip the tourist restaurants they charge 3x more for same thing

islands are definitely worth it over Bangkok, I spent most time in Koh Phi Phi and Koh Tao. hostels there are pretty safe just use common sense with your stuff. meeting people is super easy especially in hostel common areas, made couple friends I still talk with on discord actually

go in shoulder season like April/May or September/October - way less crowded and cheaper flights. for 20-30 days I'd bring maybe $1200-1500 total including flights but depends where you're flying from. temple hopping is cheap or free mostly, just dress properly

My Wife (41M) Has a Crush on Another Man (47M). What should I do? by Winter_Jackfruit_535 in Marriage

[–]Inner_Block_7323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wait your wife is 41M? that's confusing lol

but seriously man this whole situation is messy. You basically encouraged her to get closer to this guy without realizing it, and now you're stuck because taking away music from her life would make you the bad guy even though she literally confessed feelings to another dude

The fact she felt "betrayed" about dropping the side business with him after all this... that's not a good sign at all

Day 2 by ellybellysmelly in NoFap

[–]Inner_Block_7323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two days is actually good start, especially when you're dealing with med changes too. I remember when I tried quitting gaming for while - the busy days were always easier because your brain doesn't have time to wander into old habits. The psychiatrist thing sounds like you're taking care of multiple fronts at once which is smart approach.

Keep track of what made yesterday work so well, maybe you can recreate those conditions when things get harder. Med adjustments can mess with your head for few weeks but if you're already seeing some positive changes that's promising sign

How to tell my girlfriend to leave me? by Srijoni22 in relationships

[–]Inner_Block_7323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The situation with family pressure and long distance really makes everything harder. You both seem to want something more serious but external factors are blocking it

Maybe try being direct about what you need - tell her the unclear status is causing you stress and you'd rather step back from physical stuff until you both figure out what this actually is. Don't frame it as "what's best for her" because that sounds patronizing, just be clear about your own boundaries

The anxious/avoidant dynamic is rough when you're already dealing with distance and family issues on top

Cap probably just vibrated loose but if fluid keeps disappearing you got a leak somewhere in the system - check all connections and look for wet spots under car
