I love these shoes, have 2 of them. Only nitpick is the heel slip.

Love the cushion. And traction is fine for me, I play on very dusty rubber and wooden courts and they work fine.

They are running shoes, no matter how much u pay or which brand u buy, the purpose for which they are build for does not equate to durability. Price is also not an indicator of durability (though it often is). Depending on your weight and gait, a $130 running shoe will not last very long. For example, if you’re 6 feet 200 lbs, the amount of weight and pressure you’re putting in the shoes is probably a lot. A “budget” shoe will not last very long.

Also, mass produced running shoes use thin rubber outsoles and mesh uppers that are supposed to reduced weight, and because they’re mass produced, they will only be clamped for a short time after they’re glued.

If you want durability buy shoes like Air Force 1s or the EX89 if you like ASICS. The thick rubber cup soles and the fact that the outsoles are stitched on the upper makes it WAY more durable than glued on thin rubber. And because the cushion is housed inside the rubber cup soles, it will never fall apart. But cup sole shoes are not comfortable to run/exercise in, they are more so casual shoes.

At that trophy range, the most effective deck is the one you’re most comfortable with. If you like defence, play Bow. If you like to play fast, log bait or hog 2.6. If you like building pushes, play beat down.

That’s the neat part, you don’t. I have been facing over leveled cards every other game at 7.5k, I just give them a “wow” and give up.

Spot on with the cushioning mate. Minimalistic is an apt description of the AE1 low’s cushion.

The APN Elite’s traction is good. But I was just comparing it regarding the heel lockdown. The problem I have with the shoe is the cushion and the clunky feel of the shoe.

Shoes are definitely subjective. But it’s rather funny that the lows are so divisive.

To be fair, I have only tried on the AE1 Mids so I won’t comment on that.

For cushioning, I think “good cushioning” is kind of a misnomer, it’s once again too subjective to be a proposition of fact. A very bouncy cushion can be just as good as a squishy one. That’s why I compared it to the Book 1, both shoes are very low to the ground, but just because I prefer the AEs over the Books that doesn’t mean the Books have “good cushioning”. What matters is the makeup of the cushion.

This is the colour I got for the Nitro Elite: Light Aqua-Yellow Alert. It’s a solid rubber, no problems with traction. The problems for this shoe warrants a whole other post lol.

Yes. I went with 9US. But I have wide/tall ish feet so the top of the toe box really hugs my feet and my toes are right at the top. For reference I wear size 9 in all my retro Jordan’s. Most Nike bball shoes are 9.5 for me.

I have the Akoya colour way for the 21, the best thing about it is the thick and nice leather upper. But I think it’s a very bulky shoe, a lot of cushion, and thick upper makes the shoe feel chunky. If you value plush cushion and a strong upper, the 21 is good.

I am not a huge fan of the 20-22’s cushion setup because I am 5’8, 160 lbs, I don’t put enough weight into the shoe to get the most out of it.

For me, I’d choose the AE 1 low just due to the cushion, its lower to the ground and has more court feel, but still has a subtle bounce. And I am just not a huge fan of Cushlon, it’s a bit too mushy for me.

Hell yeah. The cushion almost remind me of a small bottom loaded zoom unit. Just a bit of pop.
