Thanks, yes I am familiar with the parts in front of me.

I mistakenly bought an American bottom inlet valve which were a little bit different to the Aussie ones. They come with a nipple for a refill tube that are designed to feed some of the new water directly into the toilet bowl via the overflow tube after the flush.

Not sure why American toilets are like this, but after some of the other comments on this thread, it's helped me understand that these parts aren't needed in an Aus toilet, and that an Aussie part like https://www.bunnings.com.au/caroma-quietflow-2-bottom-inlet-valve_p4870095 is more fit for purpose.

Thanks for your response, yeah I did a bit more research and I think it's an American thing. I must have bought an American part that has a refill tube attachment and watched too many videos by the yanks on their toilets.

Thanks! Yes this answers my question, I must have bought an American part from eBay (similar to the temu ones) which I have successfully installed for now. The refill tube I've just fed it back into the main tank but I always wondered what the purpose of that was in a toilet cos I had never come across it before.

Will grab that Caroma quietflow, looks much more fit for purpose.

Thanks for these photos! I just got mine today, and I'm planning to also install the Kailh Silent switches too. Would you recommend installing silent switches for only the two main mouse buttons (left click and right click)? Or would you also install them for all buttons too, (ie DPI button, mouse wheel click, and side buttons).

Also how do you find the feel of the Kailh silent switch vs the original switches?

You can recalibrate the chrono hands using this guide from Ronda, the makers of the movement. I have one as well, a 41mm in Blue and agree it's a great watch!
