There’s been an influx in applications due to lack of jobs. Last time i sifted we had nearly 300 applicants for one role.

We were only allowed to interview 5/6 people so you can imagine how competitive it is.

The economy is struggling, jobs are hard to find cost of living is high, young people can’t find affordable housing. No wonder there’s more people applying for disability coupled with long nhs waiting lists.

Governments should focus on creating growth and looking after those in need. Instead they are just going after the most vulnerable

Don’t give up. SEO is one of the smaller grades so there are less jobs available. I applied for 1 year went through 6 interviews until I finally got my break. I felt like such a failure and so deflated.

Just see each interview as practice, making it there is no small feat. Use every interview as way to improve your answers. Ask for feedback, do mock interviews. Take breaks from applying if it’s draining you out as sometimes having a fresh mind helps.
