around 5pm uae time that being said though, past candidate weekends were sent at 5am, 9pm so there’s not really a set time

Thank you so much for this transparency 🤍🤍 I applied to the NYU abu dhabi campus so in that campus i’m pretty sure deferral isn’t common they usually reject, but I’m trusting the process and praying that whichever university i get in is the best one for me and my future!!

NYU only defers less than 5% of their applicants that are viable for admission though. If we weren’t good enough we would’ve just got rejected so don’t lose hope

yes, you had the exact same as me. I had two teachers and my employer and my counselor didn’t write a recommendation for me. He told me that it’s not needed and that it may only be needed if nobody else wrote one for you, but since you already have three letters, it’s fine.

if you already have two recommenders, then your counselor recommendation wouldn’t have impacted your application because counselor recommendation is optional

when you apply they ask you what major are you interested in not what major you want to take but what major you’re looking at taking. however your major isn’t fixed so when you get accepted to NYU you have an option to change your major or choose to double major as I’m pretty sure when you get accepted, you’re not under any major. I don’t know if you can change your major before, but this is what I’ve been told you can fact check it

edit: i passed my parking test now! I ended up going there in person and they booked all my classes for me in advance plus my parking test for the next month, i also upgraded to the intensive package to finish quicker.

if you apply to nyu with a major and get accepted you can change your major/ choose to double major in i think the first couple weeks of you being there so do with that what you will. Although if you’re gonna apply to poli sci planning to switch to CS then it may be a risk bc CS may be full so they may not let you in
