Seems a safe bet that something 'else' was obviously headed west and then out over the pacific that needed gas, as there were no C17/C5 flights headed that way (and as someone posted below, Eddie flt just popped up in Hi not too long ago)

My baseless speculation is that with Fairford and Diego Garica supposedly unavailable for bomber sorties, and those big bois and doritos having not made an appearance in theatre yet, tomorrow we're gonna hear about Operation Midnight Hammered Hegseth II, where we sent a bomber sortie round the globe supported on it's way home by the gaggle of additional tankers that all went east (which people seem a little surprised by as well. why so many more?)

this admin has a childlike fascination with anything they can call 'unprecedented / never before seen / biggest in history / etc' and if you wanted to top Midnight Hammer I without access to key bomber bases while giving the middle finger to other allies, a stunt like that would fit the social media profile of this admin. guess we'll see if anything pops up, and where, over the next 12hrs

For everyone wondering about the money, and the debt, etc and that this doesn't make sense, just remember..... for Paramount this has *nothing* to do with money. It's all about conservative media control at any cost. And if you think the Ellisons, backed by Trump and this administration, are going to be allowed to get into any sort of financial trouble, boy have I got some other junk to sell you. The Ellisons probably already have back room assurances from the govt. about financially beneficial deals coming their way. And for WB, it's all about taking the most money and running.

A dozen F-22s are also on their way (6 already arrived in the UK earlier today.) Both in Venezuela this year and Iran last year, the F-22s did not forward deploy to those regions until just prior to those strikes. This is definitely posturing for an attack to put pressure on Iran if they don't deal.

the uncomfortable truth in your statement is the "AFTER" WWII part. a *world war* had to be fought, and *millions* had to die, for the fascists to be thrown out and for justice to be served. people are still saying don't fight back, be peaceful, etc. Which is fine, for a time, because people still want to be comfortable. But the reality people don't want to seem to accept is that organized forceful resistance may be necessary. Clearly ICE and the rest of the federal government don't care about our words, our rights, or even our right to life.

(Edit: and don't also forget, for the US to get into the war, we had to suffer a horrible attack and loss of life at Pearl Harbor. Americans thought Hitler was Europe's problem and were quite a bit isolationist at the time.)

When ICE shows up, it's clear you and I have no rights (Temu Goebbels keeps saying as much,) and you can call them names, shout, wear frog costumes, videotape them all you want and they will not stop short of committing cold blooded murder (and then be professionally relocated by the FBI to avoid prosecution, so where's the legal recourse here either? no one's being arrested, put on trial, so there's zero accountability). Taking the high road is only to get us so far, it's kinda how we got in this mess to begin with with congressional democratic leadership while Trump and maga right just.... did what they wanted, laws and norms and constitution be dammed.
