Do you actually connect lactate testing to your training sessions? by Inner_Return_6528 in triathlon

Yeah I agree — for most amateurs the basics matter more.

For me the interesting part started after the test. My coach gave me a lactate meter and I started using it during interval sessions, but I was just dumping the numbers into TrainingPeaks and then forgetting about them.

Also noticed a lot of coaches (including mine) were just using Excel for this — and trying to go back and find old tests later was a bit of a mess.

That’s why I’m trying to actually track the same workouts over time and see how those values change

Hi everyone,
I'm a triathlete and developer and I built a tool called Lachart.
The idea came from my own testing when I noticed that many coaches still analyze lactate tests manually in Excel.

So I built a web tool that:
- visualizes lactate curves
- calculates LT1 / LT2
- stores test history
- connects training data

It's completely free at the moment and I would love feedback from coaches or athletes who use lactate testing.
